Our landlord came today and painted parking spaces for the entire building. He had measured everything beforehand and made sure every spot was exactly the same width.
The problem is that I’m currently the only one home, so this photo only shows one car parked. Once everyone gets back and all the spaces are full, I honestly have no clue how anyone is supposed to get in or out without carefully squeezing through the door gap.
I mean, points for fairness, I guess. Nobody can complain that someone got a bigger spot than them. We can all struggle equally. 😂

Today I saw a person post a timelapse of them "drawing" a remarkable fan art. But the art was appearing in chunks from top to bottom, without any sketch or preplanning. When I asked the author how they made this timelapse, wondering maybe it's just the way they choose to present the process after the piece was done, they said it was indeed how they drew it. The piece also had lines running over it if contract is raised, and the character had an "ai finger" as the cherry on top. To say less - it was mildly infuriating.

Here's a warning on the importance of footwear. I was chopping some wood when the axe took a glancing blow off a knot and went straight for my foot. I had zero time to react. Stay safe out there.

EDIT: This is a toaster oven, not a bread toaster.
A few months ago, we noticed an electrical burning/melting smell, and traced it to our Cusinart toaster oven while it was running. I unplugged the unit and the plug was hot and the prongs were loose.
I reported Cusinart as a matter of safety hazard, they took down some info asked if there was any damage to the house and as soon as they discovered there wasn't they told me there's nothing they could do and closed the ticket.
I filed a CPSC report as a matter of record and not long after Cusinart's claim department reached out and said they could help if I ship them the toaster for engineering to look over it.
I sent them the toaster, answered all their questions.
A month later, they came back blamed me for the issue, (saying it was too close to the wall, it wasn't)... closed the case and kept my toaster, along with any ability for me to independently verify what went wrong.
This thing could have burned down my house, and what did they do? Blame me, keep it and go dark.
Way to go Cusinart!
Edit:
For anyone searching: the model number is TOB-260N1NAS. If you've had a similar experience with this unit I'd encourage you to file a report at saferproducts.gov

Story time from my flight a week ago. Only mildly infuriating due to the ending
American Airlines agent forced us to check our son's hand carry as we were last in line for boarding. We usually line up late since our child is 4 and doesn't love standing in long lines. Anyways, we told the gate agent that we were flying from the US all the way back to Malaysia and the hand carry had all my son's personal items for the 28+ hour journey home.
She did not care and muttered some corporate jargon at us. ChatGPT sounds more sincere and life-like than the response we received from her.
So she tagged my bag and proceeded to tell us to drop it off at the end of the gangway for the baggage handler to check in. The handler witnessed the whole scene as we struggled to repack our bags on the terminal floor, trying to get out my son's most necessary items.
The baggage handler and I made direct eye contact as we walked down towards the aircraft. She didn't say anything, but I got the vibe that she chose that exact moment after we exchanged glances to turn around and bring the one bag she had to be stowed away, ignoring us as we boarded the plane. The stewardesses onboard were much more understanding, and lo' and behold, there were tons of overhead spaces still available that the stewardess assisted us in finding.
Edit: no announcement for early boarding for families. AA also reassigned my paid seats 1 hour before so we were in the last boarding zone.
They did make an announcement asking for volunteers, but I didn't realize that this announcement implied forced bag check-in if they didn't meet their quota. Again I'm not big mad about it, that's why I posted it here. It's a learning experience if anything. And one more time for those in the back - Big shouts outs to baggage handler homie! Humans above corporations every day till I die, you inspire me to be better handler homie

Like the title said, I missed one online appointment by 14 minutes and boom, $195 charge. Completely my fault, forgot to set an alarm.
My therapist has missed two appointments…how come I get charged $195.😪
Edit: Yes, I know that there is a missing fee when one misses the appointment. I agree that it is justifiable to charge such a fee. I just find it mildly infuriating that the therapist can no show, with no for-warning, twice in a row, not counting the appointment I missed, and I get no grace and get charged so much.
I don’t pay for these therapy sessions, my insurance does. Though in a way I do pay for it by paying the premiums. However, I guess I have to pay for the session I missed, which I suppose makes sense seeing as it is my fault. Though, $195 a session for this type of service is obscene and I will be giving my therapist a low rating as this is extremely unprofessional and risky behavior.

Moderate-Heavy my ass. This didn't survive five minutes.
I don't expect most soft toys to last more than a day or two, but this is embarassing.

My wife brough a lot of premade salads from Kroger on Tuesday. They were discounted, cool. Threw them out of course. Those assholes at Kroger instead of removing this diarrhea-inducing product put it on sale.

Bought a six pack of Snapple recently from a store pick up, and the rest of the bottles were completely fine, no weird taste/smell or weird chunks, except for this one which I drank a little bit of it before realizing.

The amount of dudes I see when I use a public restroom that just walk out without washing their hands is appalling. There have been times where I have been temped to say something like “hey you are the guy who didn’t wash their hands after using the bathroom” for others to hear, just because.

So I went in to my favorite combo restaurant, got some tacos, and a large fry. Now the girl almost handed us our food before exclaiming “oh wait, I almost forgot your large fry!”. Then proceeded to tuck this disappointment into my bag..
I would get it if the food line was in a rush and it slipped through, but she absolutely saw how pitiful this was while not being in a rush and gave it to us anyway.
