SDCC - San Diego SDCC proxy
Hey guys! Unfortunately I won't be able to attend this year.
There's 1 booth I was highly interested in and would love if someone would be able to grab the promo on my behalf. It's a pretty niche thing so I don't think it will be very busy. Please let me know if you can assist, thank you!!!
Edit: it's the cataclysm arcade (new tcg) booth. Unfortunately I didn't realize they aren't going to be at the main hall and will be at the Marriott Marquis. If anyone will be over there and could help me out that would be great. They will have promo card and signings from their artists :)

South Carolina Anime Fest - Columbia, SC Advise: Suitcase as con bag
I’m driving to SC Anime Fest in Columbia tmw, do y’all think they will let me have a suitcase as my con bag? I CANNOT wear a backpack bc my cosplay is super bulky. Rn I have everything in an average size suitcase, but I could transfer it to a children’s one to be ever smaller. I’m a chronic overprepper and my cosplay is homemade so I really want to be able to bring my glue gun, sewing supplies, etc in guaranteed case of malfunction. I also plan on buying a lot so I need space to put figures n posters and stuff. Im worried I’ll get to the front of the line and they’ll turn me away at the door. I combed the website and they have no bag size limit or anything but I’m worried pls advise.

SDCC - San Diego Is the Exclusives Link down for you guys as well?
I keep clicking on the exclusive portal link inside the dashboard and it keeps resetting the website to the login site. I've done this on multiple devices so I don't know what's going on.

SDCC - San Diego i’ve been going to sdcc for 15 years and still don’t know where to line up for preview night 🤦♂️
i have always waited by the front door but it seems like they keep the doors closed til like 15-20min past 6pm. because of that i’ve missed out on some exclusives that cap booth lines early. what is the right place to line up to make sure i can get in as early as possible? i am local and i am working on wednesday so i can‘t line up 3 hours ahead, earliest i can make it to the convention center is probably 5pm, just mentioning if that makes a difference to where to line up.
enlighten me please! 🙏

Con Questions First time comic con etiquette ?
Hey y’all, I’m new to Reddit and new to going to comic con. I’m a bit socially awkward and I wanted to know what the rules are on how to act
I know the wear deodorant, cosplay is not consent, and just don’t be a creep ones, but I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do or what is acceptable. There is an adults only party afterwards, am I allowed to try to make friends or possibly flirt with people? I’m 23 and a guy btw.
Also unrelated to etiquette- is it ok to cosplay a semi muscular character when you’re a skinny guy. I’m a tall skinny dude and I wanna cosplay Grey from Fairytail and Giyu from demon slayer.
Thank y’all for any advice and answers. It is appreciated.

Motor City Comic Con Best chance of getting autograph during a slow period during the day?
Hi all. I’m considering going to MC3 and this would be my first con experience ever.
This specific con, I do think there will be multiple autograph sessions throughout the day for this particular actor and it sounds like you can pop in for whatever session you want.
I’ve heard of experiences where sometimes lines can be very long to the point where your interaction with the actor is super short, a quick “hi” and “goodbye”.
I was curious, is there typically a period during the day where autograph lines are the shortest which would give me a chance at having a longer interaction with the actor? Such as maybe going to the last autograph session of the day?
Any other tips?
Thank you!

SDCC - San Diego Since 2011 I’ve been crocheting little characters for strangers to find at SDCC! I've got 10 little critters this year, find one and it's yours to keep!
Since 2011 I've crocheted little superheroes to scatter around San Diego Comic-Con for people to find by posting photo clues to social media! Read this blog post for the full lineup and all the info you need on how to find one of these little guys!
I just ask you to do two things if you find one: 1) send me a photo of them as proof of their adoption, and 2) let me know where the little buddy's new home will be (each critter is tagged with my contact info and instructions on what to do if you find one!). I drop these little guys off knowing that there's a potential that people could just swipe them and never get back to me on it, but it doesn't make it any less disheartening when one goes missing. Join the hunt, and help me get my little guys happy homes!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that if you don't find the 1-Up Mushroom or Doraemon, I have FREE patterns for them over at my site so you can make your own!

SDCC - San Diego First time doing Hall H at SDCC - Walking Dead: Dead City panel Friday
Hi everyone,
I’m going to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time this year and I’m trying to plan my Friday morning.
I really want to attend The Walking Dead: Dead City panel in Hall H on Friday. It starts at 11:45 AM, but I’m not sure how difficult Hall H is to get into on a Friday morning.
For people who’ve done Hall H before:
- Would I need to line up hours in advance just for this panel?
- What time would you realistically recommend arriving?
- Is it possible to get in by lining up that morning, or would I need to be in the Hall H queue much earlier?

Fan Expo Boston is it worth going to FanExpo solo?
Hey y'all I think the title is pretty self explanatory but I'm debating on whether or not to attend Boston Fan Expo this year or if it wouldn't be worth it going alone? This is usually an event I'd go with my now ex gf (we went last year) and since it's so last minute, my friends who would be interested in this sorta stuff can't make it. Idk maybe I'm overthinking it as I'm not the type to strike up conversations with strangers. Any advice?

SDCC - San Diego Question about autograph signings.
For anyone who has won the raffles to get a product/poster signed and whatnot or just walks up to a booth that is doing autograph signings or has done this before, do you need to bring something to be autographed, or is it provided once you get to the front of the line? We weren’t a part of the exclusive list last year from the portal, however, this year my wife got a notification this year for autograph signings from the portal.

LA Comic Con Any real hopes for 2026 LA CC?
It’s going to be on halloween of all times so that just massively boosts the idea that it’ll be fun but I’ve been doing some looking and the feelings on it are mixed. However seeing the whole Anime Expo felt like “yeah things have changed” in terms of the gradual feel/potential of the thing
Well aware the real heavy hitters are SDCC and Wonder Con but this one is actually close to my birthday so it just feels right. $100 right now early bird plus some nice guests I would like to see.
If you have any input and can tell me how it is I’d be very grateful. Food for thought essentially.
