My orange cat always wants to groom my younger kitten. I read somewhere it could be just to be annoying. Or maybe she just feels motherly. lol

Hello all! I need a little advice regarding my boy (4) and the fact that he's getting chonky. I currently live with my mother and she also has a cat that she just free feeds always. I've always been a portion gal. I give him half a can of wet food for breakfast and then the other half for dinner, but also keep a tiny bit of dry food in his bowl for the night. I live in the basement so the upstairs is blocked by a door however I let him up there constantly so he basically has contact access to the other cats food. Now I'm not sure how much he weighs, last vet trip was about 12lbs I believe. He's very active. We play constantly and sometimes go on walks with the harness. I basically need advice on how my mom can feed her cat (also to note, her cat is EXTREMELY tiny, but healthy) without my boy getting all of that extra dry food? I really do not want to leave him in the basement as he loves his window time and I have no windows :( help

any cat parents here with open top automatic cat litter boxes? im moving to a condominium next month so i wanna get an automatic litter box for smell reasons cause im pretty sure houses are well ventilated compared to condominiums. im concerned about the litter boxes being plastic, wouldnt the pee and poo smell stick to plastic long term compared to stainless steel? im planning to get either catlink open x or neakasa m1

My ginger cat wants to play, but my big cat constantly hisses at him and gets aggressive, swatting at him with his claws out. He even hisses when the ginger cat tries to sniff his nose. The two cats have lived together for two years. This behavior is abnormal.

Hi everyone, there’s this little orange cat i’ve been taking care of and feeding, along with him, there’s multiple other strays in the neighbourhood i’m feeding as well. The orange cat is very friendly and will often rub himself on my legs and feet begging to be cuddled and petted. I was absolutely mortified when i found this baby with half its tail missing and bleeding. This cat has been caught before with a trap and we got him neutered so he doesn’t fall for the same trick twice. I thought he’d be so friendly as he always is that when i tried to put him in a carrier to take him to the vets, i didn’t expect him to scratch, bite and bolt away. I’ve read multiple tips about how “i can try not feeding him until he’s forced to go for the food left in the trap” ect ect but im not sure that will be possible as im feeding multiple cats… also i don’t have a drop trap available to me or in my country. i’m sure he’d be very easy to catch if i just placed a trap on top of him from afar. he gets very close but bolts if he sees any kind of carrier or trap. now he hasn’t returned since, it’s been like half a day and im hoping he comes back. but i desperately need tips to catch him and get him checked

she was clear for everything at the vet, not pregnant, negative tests. she got three vaccines yesterday, rabies, fvrcp, and felv. since we have been home from ~4:30pm yesterday til now, 7am today… she’s been in this spot. when i pick her up she growls which is completely out of character for her. she normally is a very chatty cat, purrs nonstop along with making so many biscuits. i palpated her and im assuming she’s in pain, she only growls when i touch her tummy and the vaccine administered locations. she hasn’t bitten or scratched just growled like “hey that hurts” but what concerns me the most is that she hasn’t drank water, eaten, or used the litter box. i’m freaking out because the vet doesn’t open til 8 to call and it’s 30 minutes away, i have work in 30 minutes. she’s breathing fine and her gums are pink.
Except when it's 3am and you're doing the roar for treats. Because that's the deal we have worked out.

Included is his namesake (he is a creamy orange colour).
I’ve never had a longer haired cat before only DSHs (apart from Milo who is a bengal)
Yo-yo’s fur is wavy. It’s got a crimp to it a bit like sheep do. Is this a standard longhair cat thing? I assume it contributes to how fluffy he is.
He’s a demanding little man. Walks around with a plush clownfish in his mouth and meows through it. He trades it in for brushies time. Him and the bengal (Milo) have no sense of personal space with each other. As pictures above. He also demands headbutts and will pull earphones out of your ears. He’s a defective biscuit producer too. He punches things rather than doing the scrunchy hand motion.

There is fluid building up around his heart again, he has trouble breathing, and doesn't want to move anymore. He still purrs loudly, demands his treats and loves his chin scratches.
I was hopeing for a few more weeks but all I got was three days.
I dont want him to go and leave his sister alone but there is nothing more to do for him. After work he is going to the vet and won't be coming home.

I’d really love to create a cat safe balcony here but all the options online are for windows that open up and down not out the way. I’m also renting so it has to be something that can be taken in and out when need rather than fixed into the walls. The window gap with them fully open is around 1 metre. Anyone have any ideas?
*Please note, the gardens aren’t mine so I can’t cat safe them for ember to have a catio outside.

Meet Bobby. My three year old named him. He was finally old enough to come home today!
