Yeah, as the title says. No pictures because I can't cut open my door. I have a little flat in the attic of my parents house, and last year while I was on vacation, Wasps built their nest in my bathroom window that I left open by a little crack. Couldn't get it removed, so that bathroom door was taped shut and the room was off limits until winter. Now that I thought we were done with that for this year - As said, I live in the attic and my room heats up an insane amount, so I usually leave my window cracked as well. GUESS WHAT. I notice this hornet that keeps flying into my room and disappearing randomly. Finally, I follow it to see that it started building a nest in my bookshelf, only maybe 2x3 cm so far. I wait until it takes off, destroy the empty nest and keep my windows fully shut the next few days. Everything's fine.

Then I relaxed again. Which I shouldn't have. Because once more, I hear this...buzzing noise coming from my DOOR. I do it off as nothing, because it's a fucking door?? But the noise doesn't go away. It returnsaybe two, three times a day, an aggressive buzzing against a surface. Well. I just watched a hornet fly into my room, beeline for the lock in my door (it's an old one with those wide keyholes) AND DISAPPEAR INTO MY DOOR. I straightup went and duct taped the keyhole on both sides, as well as the random holes that the previous owners of the door left (which I had covered with posters but I'm not taking chances now) and by God I can still hear it fucking buzzing inside. I'm going insane, either by heatstroke if I have to keep my windows fully shut from now on, or by dying from these little motherfuckers. Gonna take out the door and idk burn it or something

Context: I have several behavioral health disorders that either spawned or worsened as a result of my time in the military. I used to have bad panic attacks all the time but I’ve been in the civilian world for almost 4 years now, and I’ve found a medication that helps.

Well I’ve been at this job for about a year and a half with no issues, and one day I have a panic attack out of nowhere, mostly due to stress. My panic attacks present like a seizure as I’ll be shaking uncontrollably and usually unresponsive (but conscious) until it subsides. Naturally, my coworkers got me into a chair and called 911; I don’t blame them at all, I would’ve done the same.

Emergency services arrive, and I’m starting to come out of it to the point I can actually respond to people. They check vitals and hold an iPad for me to talk to a physician and explain why I don’t want to go to the hospital: long story short, I’ve been in this situation before and they found nothing. It’s anxiety/ptsd related so I know it’s not a true seizure.

They have me sign the refusal statement and leave. Today I get this fucking bill for $2,200 just for them to come check my vitals and leave. Fuck American healthcare dude.

Repost because my original post was lacking audio. Get ready, the audio is spicy.Please bear with me. I’ll try to be brief but a lot happened today.
I need to practice to pass my motorcycle license test. Part of the test is to drive around a lollipop shaped course low speed. I rode over to the DMV office and measured the lollipop. They had a large back parking lot. What better place to practice my driving?

I was drawing out my lollipop in chalk (nothing permanent) when this elderly woman, she lived next door, came over Demanding to know who I was and what I was doing. When I explained my purpose she raised her voice, “I don’t want loud motorcycles, loud kids here driving around, blah blah blah”. Wanting to show her how absolutely quiet my bike is I went over and started it up. She went crazy. At that point I couldn’t help myself. I held my hands over my ears and screamed, it’s so loud make it stop. She Went Ballistic. Don’t you belittle a woman! Don’t you mock me blah blah blah. In one sentence she pulled the gender card, the race card, and the age card. Seriously. I really missed the biggest freak out. What a chance to get a video.

Her partner came over and said she was calling the police. They proceeded to go to the DMV office. I pulled out my license, title, insurance etc and waited for the police.

A DMV manager and security officer calmly walked over to me. We talked about the lollipop and why the parking lot was not a good idea. All the time both women interrupted us, demanding my license, demanding, well, everything. And I mean DEMANDING. Gimme Your License!! Much profanity.

I apologized to the DMV for the scene. The woman, Margret, lost HER. MIND. I guess she wanted ME to apologize to her!

Edit: I went back to the scene of the crime. As predicted they called the cops. Cops said I couldn’t practice there, disturbing the peace (?).
Police gave impractical and absurd advice.
