It's insane how much some breeds shed. I have to sweep our floors every other day or else my German shepherds hair will cover it

My mom had a Shiba Inu and while she loved him, she absolutely hated having to clean up his fur all the time. She got hardwood floors in her new home but ended up having to vacuum even more because the fur would just float around on the floor. And the dog hated the vacuum cleaner and would always try to attack it whenever she vacuumed.

Every other day!? We vacuum 3-4 times a day to keep up with ours and there are still hair tumbleweeds on the daily

Yes it's a pain. Luckily we have wood floors throughout so it's not as bad as our old house with a ton of carpet

We have wood floors too. It’s definitely a trade off. Carpet hold much more hair but also hides it. Our Dyson gets a daily workout.
