Advice Weird behavior from my cat recently. Anyone know what's going on

At first I thought she was gonna show me something inside the box, but there's nothing other than a nylon bag. She also runs to it when I get near it as well, and also keeps biting my hand and tries to drag me into it. What's going on? Never in my life have I seen my cat doing this.

True, but they don't have to be pregnant. Sometimes the motherly instincts just kick in. My spayed cat used to do this a lot. She liked to pretend that my hand is her kitten.

I had a cat who adored rolled up socks. Used to carry them around until she found a good spot to curl up and bathe the socks.

Immediately stopped after having a litter of kittens and getting spayed. She had live the single mom life and was done with that nonsense.

What I'm getting from that is that the solution is to let them experience the real thing lol.

Now I have a male cat (snipped) and he loves to pretend that my blanket is... his girlfriend.

That’s so sweet. I had a cat when I was a kid who had motherly instincts and even though she was spayed as a kitten and never had any litters she would make herself a nest from time to time and bring kitten sized stuffed animals to her nest and lay down with them like she was going to nurse them. She also dragged Barbie’s around by their hair and pull their pants down when she got them where she wanted them.
