Bald Picture My bald transformation
Noticed some thinning in the front and because following this sub I took the plunge and cut my hair and yesterday shaved it off for the first time

I come humbly before the council to present myself to hopefully be accepted by the bald community. HLH, dialysis, and chemo have done a number on my head.
Also, open to advice on how to take care of a bald head. Washing, oiling, etc. Ty!
Edit: I can't even put into words how all of you have made me feel. I wasn't ready for the overwhelming love and kindness. This community is sublime.I love you all. Thank you everyone

So yeah, I can’t control my hair loss. But I can lose weight, workout, and shave my head. And so I do. 😌💪🙏

I shaved yesterday a couple of hours after my old post and I really like it! It just takes away a bit of anxiety and feels more comfortable.
Thanks for all of your responses 🙏
Like many others, y'all convinced me that being bald is a good look and nothing to be worried about. Unfortunately I cut the beard before by accident :(
One question I've been wondering about. How do you all maintain the bald look? It took me 1/2 hour to get there. Thankful for any recommendations
Edit: Thank you all for the reassuring feedback. Somewhat overwhelmed with all the kindness and the amount of comments received already. Truly thank you all

Hey everyone I did it but I don't feel like it suits me.

It’s easier to manage and feel so much better this way. Having what little hair I did, I hated the up keep and how it made me feel hot all the time.

Is it time? I'm quite tall and I only have no hair on the top of my head. The front part is intact.

Definitely feel a lot better. I don’t know how to describe it other than a weight being lifted. Not used to how cold my head is getting, but the breeze is really nice! (I don’t really take photos of myself)

Just want everyone’s opinion. Does it suit me or not. Been taking a razor to it daily for 5 years as you can’t beat the feeling of a fresh shave ..however I’m starting a new job and wondering if I should change it. Last pict is me with hair.

**Edit - OMGosh it's happened again and the response and support has just blown me away! Thank you SO MUCH guys for saying nice things and encourage me it's REALLY helped. I've tried to upvote everything, but there's just too many to reply to individually - I've read every comment though. Love you lot - amazing. Had a brilliant day with a lot of just 'bald head' moments. Chill time nowX**
I was amazed at the response from my question yesterday - thank you!!
Okay, I'm probably not quite at the confidence level required to literally go out in my dress + bald head + ZERO makeup, but I really appreciated the support from everyone. I hope one day I WILL be able to unashamedly be myself in that way. For now though I need a helping hand.
When I'm not in my usual wig/make up I need another simple image to go for. I've dug out my glasses, and put some light makeup on, and found my dangly earrings.
This is going to be my vibe today, I think the dress would put extra pressure on me, but with some nice trousers/ blouse I feel really good like this now!
Importantly I still feel like a woman. Thanks again everyone and have a great day XX

Hairline jokes started at 16, shaved it all at 19, never looked back 😂

Recently was diagnosed with Alopecia areata. After a week of wearing hats into the office I called it. I feel much better now. Time to get a better shaver since mine sucks.
I’m thinking I’ll try to fill in the patches in my beard with Minoxidil since I would like to grow a full beard again someday.

I was really shy to share this here, afraid of some of my friends see this and don't know, post it around as a joke, but with time I saw how nice the community here is with everyone.
I feel that I can still hold it, but in just few years(like 1-2) I will be joining the club.
What do you guys think?

Thank you all for the supportive responses and a touch of humor 😂. Today I decided to try a buzzed cut and I really liked it. I am immensely grateful to my barber Juliano (@Gjulianopereira_ Instagram) Thank you for accepting the challenge and for the excellent work.
So happy! 🥳🥳🥳
