Are there any other female characters similar to Poison Ivy? Like sexy/seductive femme fatale characters who have a deep mythology and usually have powers or something “alien” (ie strange DNA) about them. Hathor from Stargate SG-1 comes to mind and Sil from Species.

So I am not a DC fan AT ALL but I really like Harley Quinn and want to learn about Ivy!

First, I want to know about her origin story: who she is, where she's from, how she got her powers... I saw an extract of a cartoon on Insta where I saw she was a scientist (biologist ig) who got trapped in a room that was filling up with gaz and injected some green stuff in her arm to be saved and became green and have her powers.

I also want to know if she appears in any movies or cartoon (I know she is really important in the Harley Quinn cartoon but I'll have to pay if I want to watch it on Prime Video 🥲) and where I could watch those if they exist!

I also found a Harley and Ivy comic book on Amazon I might buy!!

I’ve been in the process of reading every Poison Ivy story published by DC and the biggest surprise has been how much I liked the New 52 reboot.

I thought it was an awesome design and probably overdue update. Even if we probably will never see this design again 😅

Why there's so much cheating? And why its never really a thing? Am I missing something?

Because from the start Ivy clearly felt like cheating, she even said things about explain to Harley, and It was never explained, It was never really a thing, so its not a poly relationship at least didnt start like it

And I don't like Janet, even a little.
