I dont know what im doing, someone suggested installing this on my TV

Hi guys, im so confused about this app so ive come here for some guidance, my friend said I should install Nuvio on my TV, which I did, but im absolutely confused as to what this app is supposed to do?

If I try to watch something it just gives a black screen or says I don't have 'movies' or 'series'

When I try to sign in it says 'service for this project is restricted because excess_egress_quota, the project owner must upgrade their plan or remove spend caps'

When I try to add 'addons' which I think is how the program finds films? It just says failed to fetch addon manifest from www.xxx.something/file.json or something.

What exactly are addons, and what are collections? Im so confused right now any info would be appreciated, even if its just some links to help me get going.

Thanks! Im reading through the quick start guide and there are some terms used that have me a bit clueless. 'manifest link' and 'Library Source' for starters.

Also i cant seem to figure out why it won't let me log in.

This seems like one of those subs where you get downvoted for not knowing stuff, but im just looking for help 😅

No you don’t get downvoted for not knowing stuff. You may get remarks about not searching for your questions using the search bar on top of the app. A lot of questions like this has been asked many times and searching will help you locate an answer faster and easier. Have you searched manifest link and library source in the search field? Just curious

Manifest link is the link you get after setting up an addon. It's a .json link.

Library source can either be Nuvio Library or it can be Trakt so it connects to your Trakt and syncs with it to show you your Trakt Library (which is called Watchlist on Trakt).

I prefer the Trakt option since I've been using Trakt for years, but if you haven't, Nuvio Sync/Library is more stable and syncs between devices better.

AI can help you a lot with Nuvio setup, you can ask Gemini or GPT whatever you don't understand
