Carpets are disgusting, and i dont even mean because of pet hair. Most people dont even own a real wet vacuum to clean them, let alone use it as often as they should. They just air vacuum and call it a day. Gross! Oh youre a shoes-allowed-indoor houseold as well? Tripple gross.

I mean...even a wetvac isn't going to get it. If a dog pees on a carpet then that pee is there forever. I don't care if you got the carpet with the waterproofed backing. I don't care if you got waterproof padding. It's not actually waterproof and as soon as the pee hits the carpet it is already soaking into the fabric and the backing and the padding and the subfloor. There is no real way to clean a carpet that has been soiled. You can do your best but there will always be pee.
I challenge anyone with a pet that has peed somewhere on their carpet to pull up that area and see what it looks like. No matter if you used a Rug Doctor or some other commercial cleaning service, the pee stain is there.
But I completely agree with your post. It's just that a wetvac isn't going to solve anything. Carpets are gross. I had LVP installed and the kind I chose has a bevel in between planks and even that is disgusting even after a thorough mopping. Just take a paper towel and push your fingernail over it along the bevel and
