One tiny detail I liked was that Antinous said to Eusmaeus “Does she even know your name?” when questioning his loyalty.

Come the challenge scene, Penelope calls him by his name when giving him the bow

Antinoos should have known though, because Eumaus was literally personal friend of Odysseus and the Palaces let’s say official pig farmer.

That’s one reason Odysseus was successful in eliminating the suitors: people at his service recognised him, respected him and help him because they knew him personally and they had a relationship with him, they weren’t anonymous faces.
