I loved that we never truly saw Agamemnon talk beyond a few words or be without his helmet up till his ending. Just spent every scene straight auramaxxing in his armor. The scene of him standing alone as the gates open was amazing.

I loved that, and dropping the lantern revealing the soldiers was brilliant.

What a bro too telling Odysseus to lay low and assess the situation before he comes home.

Sickest helmet I've ever seen in my life

Agamemnon's armor being a metaphor for the power of a king, and that power so easily stripped away when removed was so phenomenal. His death by Clymenstra while he's shown as soft and vulnerable after leaving his armor was such a beautiful illustration of the point. At the end of the day, power is but armor, but it will eventually come down.

Everything about Agamemnon was so beautifully shown with hardly a word.

Ahhh thank you! Great point about the armor. Him coming home a champion being killed so quickly like that was hard to process but your right the massive armor was the symbol

Even the way he was shot from behind when his armour off and we don’t get a true glimpse at him until his death was great film work.

Would have liked some Ajax or Achilles but the Agamemnon aura farming was badass.

Tbh his actual voice brought his aura down for me, he just sounded like a guy

But that’s the point. He’s all aura in his armor but he was so small in death. He wasn’t a God, he was just a man

Yeah, you’re totally right, I hadn’t seen it that way

But I love that somebody else already said it but yeah he was just a dude. He spent all that time aura farming came home believing his own hype just to get slimed out by his own wife. He was never what he or we thought he was but because of the stories that were passed down we believed it to be true. Ugh I love this film so much

Should have used Ralph Ineson’s voice or something.

Still mad he wasn't Ramsay Bolton. When he first showed up in Game of Thrones I thought that was supposed to be some twist on his character introduction because he was also in disguise as someone else in the books.
