I would have stayed with Charlize Theron on that island. Give me them lotus flowers.

Try to remember...nope! I'm staying on this island.

He didn’t confess guilty feelings about that.

Anne Hathaway might just be the one person that actually makes me leave that island

It's a genuinely hard choice to make. Take drugs and hang out with Charlize Theron or sail home to Anne Hathaway. I now know why it took him 7 years to make it.

I genuinely gasped when we first see her. She’s always beautiful but she was fucking stunning in this. And of course, a pitch perfect performance from her.

I knew coming out of the movie someone would have commented this lol

Some asshole in my showing two rows in front pulled his phone out when Charlize Theron showed up. Started googling the movie and speaking loudly to his companion he didn’t know she was in it.

I hope you poured a Pepsi on that muthaf****. That kind of shit needs to stop.

Threw some popcorn at him to get his attention and whispered “put your fucking phone away”. He got the message but I was seeing red.

Nice. I’m glad you did that. I’ve seen it go unpunished too often.

Someone brought an actual baby to my showing. Definitely under a year old. After the mother leaving the theater with it three times, they eventually both left halfway through the movie.

I really wanted to go tell staff and have them removed but I was unwilling to miss potentially minutes of the movie

Edit: did the couple with that baby find my comment and downvote me?

I hope you poured Pepsi on that baby too! /jk 😜 That’s nuts though

Jesus Christ. No common sense anymore.

I can’t stand it. I’m a bit of a movie theatre Batman to be honest. Used to ask politely for people to put their phones away; now I just tell them very demandingly lmao.

So meta too lol as soon as I saw Charlize was Calypso, I’m like yeah man I get. Stay there my guy.

Suckin on opiates and eating ceviche all day on a bench which Charlize is pretty much the only thing that would keep me from Anne Hathaway. Unless Anne also is on a beach with opiates.

Furiosa is a lot less furious than I remember

So I don’t know if this is the actual case in Greek Myth or if Rick just added it to make her character more sad, but in Percy Jackson they state that she’s basically cursed to fall in love with anyone who lands on the island but they’ll always leave her anyways. Always felt bad for her in the original series (Heroes of Olympus less so) but God I felt so bad for her in this

The Botox face took me out of immersion.

Seen a lot of those and didn't notice it in the movie.

I’m laughing because my brother whispered to me about this Botox issue midway through the movie
