Wanted a Nolan horror movie.

The Cyclops and pig transformation scenes finally gave a taste.

Nolan, please do a straight up horror movie next!

Pig transformation scene was horrifying on the next level. Props to everyone who worked on that scene and Samantha Morton for a good, albeit too quick, performance as Circe

She tells them to all leave their weapons and armor outside, they all see the armor graveyard out back and didn’t nope the fuck out of that situation. Them boys must have been really hungry.

I thought that was funny. Can’t remember if that was in the poem.

My one issue with the pig scene is that if he slaughtered the pig like she told him too wouldn't it have just turned back into a human revealing herself. Like the deer did

i think he knew all along and was just fucking with her to figure out where his crew is

That’s not the point he’s making, he’s saying the witch would be snitching on herself

I think she knew he knew.

Like she knew about his dagger.

Exactly. She was baiting him to kill one of his men to keep up his ruse.

I could have misread the scene, but I think when he shot the deer there was a movement she made indicating that she could tell it happend. But I might have been imagining things.

No I 100% saw the same thing. She felt a disturbance in the force

As if a singular voice suddenly cried out in terror and was suddenly silenced...

Well, a dead human.

Great body horror

Morton as Alpha was one of the better things about Walking Dead towards the end. And it felt like she brought out some of that in Circe.

It made me so bummed that the HBO show based on the book Circe got stuck in development hell and probably isnt happening (though maybe this movie will renew interest)

Will go down as the best scene of the year most likely
