If you get confused about the giant grapefruit when you want milk
You have different problems

Oh man I would hate to accidentally get milk when I'm trying to get my grapefruit juice. I love grapefruit

Man kann sie trotzdem gut unterscheiden... Wegen dem offensichtlichen Abbild einer Grapefruit...

Everybody's joking but I've never seen juice in a white carton. It feels wrong...

I hate to break it to you but plastic jugs is the weird one. Most of the world uses recyclable tetra pak style cartons now.

This Grapefruit juice is usually in a blue and orange package though. They just changed the colours for the WC

Our cartons are usually pretty similar except for the writing on the front and a big picture of the relevant fruit. We do ok... it's certainly never struck me as anything infuriating.

What's slightly more than "mildly" infuriating is the amount of geniuses here pointing out that you can tell them apart, or they are sold in different sections. No shit, Sherlock.

Yeah I wasn't aware the design department of edeka had such a strong lobby here on Reddit.

Imagine someone adds grapefruit into the coffee thinking if was milk.
Or grapefruit into their tea thinking it was milk.

For someone who doesn’t like milk in tea the grapefruit idea sounds definitely better anyway xD

One sip of that milk with your cereal and suddenly it’s a punishment, not breakfast 😭

I mean. No? You can very clearly see the difference at even a simple glance.. ones got a fruit on it right in the front and center

u/Whooptidooh 2h ago
Aside from the obvious grapefruit pictured on the right carton, it’s also literally spelled out what’s inside.

Going home realizing that instead of milk you got juice would be really stupid...

That can't really happen accidentally because there is no edeka where milk and juice aren't in different corners of the supermarket.

Hey, so why did they start putting pictures of grapefruits on the milk? Like, what do grapefruits have to do with milk? Do cows eat grapefruit or something?
- OP, probably.

I feel like the massive grapefruit on one of the packages is a good indicator which is which
