The way that movie kinda fucked with my childhood trauma, and ultimately opened a door and helped. Great movie. Had the album on repeat for months with the kids, didn’t mind it. :)
It does such a good job illustrating the existence and impact of generational trauma. I didn’t realize it the first time I watched it because the weight of the abuela’s expectations on her family felt so heavy for me, and I didn’t understand why the movie was so popular. Mirabel standing up for herself is so empowering. Setting boundaries is still seen as hurtful behavior against someone else in my family. I’m determined not to pass this trauma on to my kids.
Right? With the fuckin bed right beside the open wall. Naaaaahhhhhh. It should be dead centre of the room, max distance from spider-ness at all times. Preferably with a moat.
but you need the spiders to catch the bugs that come in at night through those gaps in the wood. If this was my cottage (in Canada) the mosquitos would have my blood drained in a night LOL.
Seriously. My grandma is seething when she sees the spider web in the corner of my room, but i refuse to dust it, that little guy took so many mosquitos away

There's not a single part of your house that should look like that. Stick a nylon over your vacuum to suck it up then pull the nylon off and continue cleaning your damn house.
Did the spider remove the bud from your ear thinking it was a juicy fat worm, bring it back to its web for a midnight snack, but the bud fell all the way down due to its weight??
Serious question: HOW tf did it move from your ear to this spider den of horrors??
This post is annoying. Any clue as to where you fell asleep that would have webs like that would help but nope. It's a amalgam of rage baiting and vague booking. Rage booking.
