Honestly my theory is that the series finale was very similar to what he had in mind (although probably less fleshed out). Then he saw the negative reactions to Season 7 and especially 8 and thinks he cannot salvage it because everything has been set up in that direction.
George gave D&D each main character's storybeats and where they'll end up, and gave them a rough idea of how the story is gonna end (Bran on the Throne, Dany going Mad, etc.)
How we get to those events and storybeats will be drastically different, and I'm sure George has changed some of them after seeing the backlash on the show, but as far as we know now, that's what's coming.
So the reason he didn't write the book is because he didn't like the fan reaction to a season finale that came out 9 years after he finished the previous book? He just sees the future then does he?
You're an obtuse bag of shit.
The reason he hasn't finished writing The Winds of Winter is because the reaction to the show's end, which will have overlapping story beats with the book, made him lose motivation. If that isn't clear enough for you since you seem to have comprehension problems, you can always go read George's personal blog.
Btw. just wanted to say that your parents are huge failures for not teaching you the most basic manners, and you are a huge disappointment for continuing to behave this way.
