Pissing off GOAT sure is a bold choice, cotton.

Lets see how it plays ou-oh...

Oh...

39

u/Upper-Judge1785 16h ago

Oh, alright! so that's how you want to play so be it

17

u/Kazumii69 (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃ 17h ago

The face that says "hey if it works, it works"

56

u/mojaverevenant 16h ago

it can be interpreted that way, but the real context was the exchange he had with Bellingham, like "oh yeah? now you'll see" before coming back to win the match

u/SyilerCV 16h ago

I mean this was in the 3rd minute and they came back in the 80th+ so not really

18

u/sadloneman 15h ago

And he was playing better than how he played against Switzerland, in swizz match he was chill

He surely got angry in this match , and historically messi plays better with anger.

I wish someone would piss him off in finals, mostly cucurella

1

u/SyilerCV 15h ago

Yeah that’s true, definitely had a fire lit under him

u/sadloneman 15h ago

In the entire knockout stage messi played better against England than the other teams

Supposedly the toughest team they faced till now

Something tells me he is gonna have a field day against spain

They just want to make sure our cardiologist bills are as high as possible.

57

u/Just-Seesaw8290 17h ago

Fixing with the doctors too? /s

22

u/Crossdress-Fan- 16h ago

My health insurance doesn't cover cardiologist I'm cooked!

9

u/Antique_Anything_392 15h ago

Fifa clearly has an agreement with hospitals /j

u/SuperTropicalDesert 10h ago

Big Carda at it again

u/reddsht 16h ago

England's coach ate a whole industrial sized box of crayons in the last 20 minutes of the game.

25

u/Crossdress-Fan- 16h ago

Yo! but those red crayons hit hard! /s

5

u/Elpibe_78 6h ago

And decided to shove them up their nose as well

A meme not hating on Argentina?! I think I'm going to cry!

20

u/OmegaMalkior 15h ago

Praying this was a reference to the song, and if it was, saying it for those that don’t know it

1

u/Crossdress-Fan- 9h ago

I'm sorry I don't know what song you're talking about xD

3

u/OmegaMalkior 9h ago

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina - Julie Covington

A looot of other versions out there, but this was the original. I’ll pretend this was the reference all along lol

1

u/Crossdress-Fan- 4h ago

Oooh yeah no it was a complete accident

1

u/Adventurous_Self_253 13h ago

So have been the haters

-6

u/Burpmeister 14h ago

Well they somehow managed to make people root for England. Takes some serious effort to manage that.

17

u/Crossdress-Fan- 13h ago

And here comes the first idiot

8

u/brain_implant 9h ago

"They" being the pr agency pushing doctored images

0

u/Burpmeister 5h ago

In the middle of the live broadcast? Sure lol

6

u/Rio_FS 10h ago

"They" not being Argentina

-1

u/Burpmeister 4h ago

Woah, the Argentinian players don't play for Argentina?

-6

u/Outrageous-Can-187 12h ago

Can still be considered a criticism

8

u/Crossdress-Fan- 9h ago

Against the team maybe. Argentina definitely played way too relaxed against some rivals, but against England aside from that one mistake that lead to a goal I'd say Argentina was in control for most of the match

87

u/IStream2 15h ago

Argentina's knockout round games have been consistenly the most exciting games in the tournament. I'd also argue that Cape Verde was the strongest team they've played so far.

39

u/Crossdress-Fan- 14h ago

Hats off to Cape Verde, they fought with tooth and nails!

15

u/Clear_Cranberry_989 11h ago

They even drew spain. And most importantly they had spirit.

50

u/bluetriumphantcloud 17h ago

They never lead at the 90' mark in any knockout game and they are in the finals. Amazing 👏

7

u/Connect_Set_6542 16h ago

Are you being sarcastic? I mean, it's not our fault that the "competent" teams didn't make to round of 32, round of 16 or quarter-finals, plus, we played pretty good at second half against England

11

u/Crossdress-Fan- 16h ago

basically after the hydration break on the first half Argentina controled the match, England had a good oportunity and Gordon made the most of it, and that's why they scored.

8

u/Connect_Set_6542 16h ago

Even worse, they had said opportunity because Romero (El Cuti, as we call him) stopped marking Gordon, Gordon saw the opportunity and took with a good definition, but it was Cuti's fault in the first place

6

u/Raythatstabbedsteve 14h ago

Have you ever had to mark someone who is that much faster than you? I'm amazed that Argentina can leave that much space in behind against teams which are faster across the board. Nearly cost them the game against Egypt, and I thought England would have a field day.

3

u/Crossdress-Fan- 14h ago

Aguante el Cuti viejo jajaja, soy Argentino escribo en ingles por que bueno es un post en ingles xD

7

u/bluetriumphantcloud 16h ago

Amazing comebacks, exciting football. Encara Messi.

11

u/mrloko120 11h ago

The secret to winning against them has gotta be not scoring until extras, so they don't have time to wake up lol

7

u/Upper-Judge1785 16h ago

Locked. On.

3

u/_SilkMoon 16h ago

giving the fans HBP then ending with joy

8

u/darkargengamer 14h ago

As a well known roman said once: "anulus mufacum" which translates to "ANULO MUFA"

1

u/Top-Gene-1496 16h ago

Thanks for sharing

1

u/PloofElune 13h ago

Reminds me of A_seagull when someone on enemy team talks shit.

1

u/PrestigiousPen8024 10h ago

Maybe its a strat

1

u/Zkyrus 6h ago

"We scale late"

1

u/ReddeatUser999123 6h ago

Started against egypt. Surprisingly, even english players weren't attacking in last 15 minutes

0

u/DRABPT 10h ago

It's so boring

0

u/stumpyturk 8h ago

If the score is 2-1 there is 30 seconds of excitement in 90 regulation minutes.

-6

u/josch247 8h ago

Doesn't matter when it's rigged

-12

u/Outrageous-Can-187 12h ago

Cuz it’s scripted just like a soap opera

3

u/Aisopia 10h ago

mad cope
