No worries. They are wearing their safety sandals.

54

u/Fergue8on 1h ago

Yeah this thing crushes rocks not sandals, they're totally fine

9

u/vikinxo 1h ago

The machine goes: Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-Gimme-----

u/hizashiYEAHmada 18m ago

Out there unfortunately is a video of a guy who does what the kid did in the video but falls into the machine, hangs on for dear life while getting slowly buried with the rocks lined up for the machine as his coworkers scramble to find the stop mechanism, but it's too late

16

u/OkBox6828 1h ago

And loose clothing

u/turd_ferguson899 10m ago

Yeah, dude's pant leg so close to that wheel was making me a little nervous.

u/govunah 24m ago

Good thing they left the safety glasses. That's just asking for accidents

29

u/Oisinx 1h ago

the guy at the far end pedaling like crazy.

8

u/Hammer_the_Red2 1h ago

See the first guy had his safety sandals and got the guy with the heavy duty safety slides.

4

u/Winter_Value_7632 1h ago

comes with a hammer too

6

u/HelloPeopleOfEarth 1h ago

Regulations are for commies /s

5

u/TenYearHangover 1h ago

Also, eye protection is cumbersome and really more a distractive danger than anything else…

u/nuseht 37m ago

Literally opened the post with the intention of typing this exact comment verbatim. Reddit has a hold on me.

u/Sythe5665 2h ago

I don't like how close his leg is to that spinning piece

55

u/Tombo6969 1h ago

Especially with the loose fabric he's wearing... 👀

4

u/Old-Calligrapher2403 1h ago

There's a cover over it so not so bad but has holes in it so loose clothes could get caught in it. So not so bad and not so good both at the same time

8

u/Crafty_Dog_4226 1h ago

Is there a cover over the flywheel? I am seeing color change on the top of it. Keep these guys away from PTOs.

I know where red rock comes from!

26

u/RicTannerman01 2h ago

How much is he actually moving that rock though?

20

u/Square-Savings-2891 1h ago

Exactly. He isn't going shit.

16

u/Normal-Pool8223 1h ago

a rock that size is probably 500kg+, his leg is as useful as a bird farting on a brick

16

u/RicTannerman01 1h ago

African or European bird fart?

6

u/WhatIGot21 1h ago

That rock would have never fallen in without his strength.

2

u/leet_lurker 1h ago

Not at all.

36

u/MrLink4444 2h ago

A stick cannot cost that much

u/HubertTheCumberdale 44m ago

Would be considered more valuable than the workers in places like that.

u/cubeincubes 37m ago

And they all have a smartphone because their data is more valuable than their lives

→ More replies (2)

13

u/ElHorny 2h ago

Damn the spinning wheel behind him as hes hitting the stone scares me the most.

20

u/soulself 2h ago

They must have NOSHA in that country.

5

u/Friendly_Shopping286 2h ago

Somebody could probably build a little excavator boom setup for a thousand bucks that would reach down in there and pull the rocks anytime needed

7

u/BurdTurglary 1h ago

That's like a trillion ruppees, ain't nobody got time fo dat

3

u/Stacked7High 1h ago

Or a pneumatic hammer with a long bit to break it up from the bottom where it is jammed

27

u/Fair-Chemist187 2h ago

This isn’t "interesting" this is just sad

7

u/hsoj48 1h ago

Iunno. Id probably stand and stare at the rock crush machine all day like it was a campfire.

u/dzumdang 40m ago

Sad and yet oddly satisfying.

"by using hands and feet" Hammer: ...... " Am I a joke to you?"

24

u/CakeHoleKing 2h ago

This is the same process they had to use on Margaret Thatchers corpse when she refused to be sucked down into hell.

2

u/CorbynDallasPearse1 1h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣 you’ve deffo won Reddit today as far as I’m concerned

→ More replies (2)

4

u/Rechno_ 1h ago

They have done way more with the hammer than the machine.

8

u/islobojono 2h ago

How many sacrifice has that machine eaten

3

u/Plane-Education4750 1h ago

This week? Probably none. The counter only goes up to 7

3

u/GeauxFarva 2h ago

Who needs OSHA? These fellas seem perfectly safe.

2

u/Known-Policy2007 1h ago

OSHA? Ohh shit!!

3

u/ShrmpHvnNw 2h ago

Standing so close to that wheel with loose clothing

4

u/Weary_Position_9591 2h ago

Where’s the “It’s been 0 days since the last accident” workplace sign

2

u/Royal_Stay_6502 2h ago

That spinning wheel and his dress.. 🫢

2

u/Optimal-Fix1216 2h ago

Why are they crushing the rock?

5

u/antpabsdan 1h ago

It's personal.

2

u/Positive-Database754 1h ago

The weight of that rock is at the point where he is contributing next to nothing, and putting himself in danger for no reason.

2

u/KristyNoemsZombieDog 1h ago

I swear he's not doing anything to help

2

u/Trikster102 1h ago

Why do I feel like I'll this in r/whatcouldgowrong sub in the future?

2

u/Mediocre_Ingenuity76 1h ago

Anybody see those OSHA approved harem pants next to that flywheel?

2

u/Forever-Fades_Away 1h ago

Imagine waking up every day and realizing this is your lot in life. Dangerousness aside, how would you feel knowing that you wake up every day to turn big rocks into smaller rocks?

Does it pay well? - "no"

Is it rewarding? - "no"

Is it hard work? - "very"

Is there anything else you could be doing within walking distance? - "no"

u/FragmentedMeerkat321 56m ago

that baggy trouser leg right next to the whirring drive wheel is making me sweat…but it’s all for a good cause (you want the quarry conglomerate owner to have that second smaller 150’ yacht he can take to lake como, don’t you? you see, they don’t allow the mega-yachts on the lake.)

u/GrapefruitPrimary186 38m ago

If you get rid of OSHA like MAGA wants to do, there companies will have you doing shit like this and you cant stop them. A company i worked for in the US showed us training videos of that same company operating in India, and they were doing basically this. The company even admitted that the employees worked like that because there were no regulations.

3

u/Kaszrak 2h ago

I can already see how one of them gets dragged into the flywheel spray painting the whole place.

1

u/Particular-Act-8911 2h ago

No problem. Only a stones throw away from that leg being crushed.

1

u/BadHairDayToday 1h ago

I was really impressed with how effortlessly it was crushing those first stones but then it got stuck on a big one for the next 5 minutes

1

u/Similar-Item-1695 1h ago

I've seen horrible things happen, it's not worth it. Use safety

1

u/scottiedagolfmachine 1h ago

Holy shit that took long enough. 👀

1

u/LordButterbeard 1h ago

Just noticed how fast that wheel is spinning

1

u/WealthBitter1192 1h ago

They are safe. They are wearing shoes.

1

u/Holiday-Hedgehog0621 1h ago

Life is cheap when you have more people than every country in the world

1

u/AHumbleSaltFarmer 1h ago

One wrong step and it turns into a people squisher

1

u/st1ckmanz 1h ago

I watched the whole thing and that effin rock is still there...

1

u/toldyouIaintshit 1h ago

Safety sandals, loose clothing next to a rotating machine, chipping away at it with Mjölnir's cousin, standing on belt.... You crazy for this shit India.

1

u/blue_quark 1h ago

I guess the sign denoting “Days Without a Lost Time Injury____” has been replaced with “Guards are for Sissy’s.”

1

u/RequiemQuilty 1h ago

The safety sandals of osha +3

1

u/Woozletania 1h ago

"The gravel is extra red today."

1

u/massive-business 1h ago

What exactly is this machine and on a scale of jelly beans to chest burster how much do you really not want to fall into it?

1

u/InternationalDiet631 1h ago

Ffs you guys needs to see the difference between interesting and devastating. No one should be working in theses conditions

Sorry, that got boring

1

u/sp2432Reddit 1h ago

I love the loose fitting safety clothing as well!

1

u/jxfever 1h ago

Why does the worker hide in the tent after trying to push it down ?

1

u/BlueLaceSensor128 1h ago

Seems like a pickaxe would have been better.

1

u/Dirty__Viking 1h ago

This is like the scene from Indiana jones

1

u/CakeHoleKing 1h ago

Imagine if that ended 10seconds earlier and we had to wait for part 2. Behind a paywall.

1

u/ChocoboDave 1h ago

I cannot believe I watched that for 6 minutes and then wanted it to keep going.

1

u/trifecta000 1h ago

There's no less than two pairs of sandals inside that thing, guaranteed.

1

u/Imaginary-Rope-3084 1h ago

Trying to kick in the rocks into the machine by yourself, what could go wrong?

1

u/Proud-Parsley6072 1h ago

It’s the spinning wheel directly beside those baggy pants I’d be more concerned about tbh

1

u/SkillsInPillsTrack2 1h ago

At this point everything is interesting

1

u/WhoMutedMe 1h ago

Am I on the wrong sub? Science and Tech here, right?

1

u/TonePresent8179 1h ago

All shits and giggles untill one of them slips

1

u/Any_Swordfish_684 1h ago

The thing with people like this is they absolutely insist on being an edge lord

1

u/Unregistered_Davion 1h ago

After seen a poor soul fall into one of these I was holding my breath everything he stepped on the rocks that would be fed in next. Thats how the person I saw fall in did it. Slipped on the one rock right into it and the rocks already in there held him in place so there was no way of escaping. Has to be one of the worst ways to go.

1

u/powertodream 1h ago

they have the huge machine but not jackhammer why?

1

u/Main-Event-5715 1h ago

Why women live longer.

1

u/croosin 1h ago

My god that flywheel and those loose clothes

1

u/rodbrs 1h ago

The rock crushing/moving circlejerk of Reddit experts begins.

1

u/FrostyExplanation_37 1h ago

I worked in a mine in my youth. Worked on a similar machine, used the sledgehammer to break up the big rocks. So fucking satisfying. We obviously had much better protection though.

1

u/antpabsdan 1h ago

This guy rocks.

1

u/Umbreon86 1h ago

If anything here goes wrong, it goes very wrong.

1

u/AltGuardianGord 1h ago

Loose fitting clothing around a barely guarded spinning wheel.

My employer makes me wear PPE for the 1/1000000 chance of something happening. These guy have a 1/100 chance of something happening and nadda.

1

u/coaxialdrift 1h ago

Not even a railing. There's nothing to hold onto if you did fall in

1

u/The_Summary_Man_713 1h ago

5am and I watched the whole video in bed.

1

u/smashingcabage 1h ago

That looks safe

1

u/omwtfub1 1h ago

If the video ended before that rock fell, I would've been pissed.

1

u/jerettam 1h ago

Thats some Flintstones type work going on there

1

u/VisibleRoad3504 1h ago

Was waiting for him to jump up and down on it.

1

u/PomegranateHefty4461 1h ago

A world like this exists. Meanwhile, American liberals cry because some girls aren’t allowed to play boys school sports

1

u/Apart-Feeling1621 1h ago

Final destination india

1

u/bi-king-viking 1h ago

Damn, the new Thor movie looks pretty different.

1

u/OneTax3014 1h ago

I love their idear of health and safety

1

u/Crabkingrocks165 1h ago

Get a stick god damn it, WHERE IS OSHA?!?

1

u/JoeyCStudios 1h ago

Glad nothing bad happened. Last week I saw a dude fall into one of these things in a different subreddit.

1

u/xChoke1x 1h ago

Who needs regulation when you have baggy pants right next to a wheel going 2 billion rpm? Lol

1

u/SophonParticle 1h ago

I watched the whole video

1

u/MOBE_the_Hippo 1h ago

that seems like a pretty shitty rock crushing machine

1

u/terrydennis1234 1h ago

Just another day at the office

1

u/nowlickmyfet 1h ago

I have seen the liveleak versions of trying this. I would not rexommend this.

u/Fit_Seaworthiness387 59m ago

The second guy with the hammer got one to the face. Looks like he was probably bleeding from it.

u/Professional-Card804 58m ago

Forgot the rock look 👀 how close his foot is to that pulley spinning 😵‍💫 100MPH 😬

u/DisciplineHot7374 58m ago

Grandpa became gravel today.

u/Ib123Steven 57m ago

Loose pants next to a flywheel… Awesome.

u/Ice-Berg-Slim 55m ago

Wait until OSHA sees this! /S

u/TheMordax 55m ago

Breaking rocks in the hot sun

u/Large_Cloud_1611 44m ago

So are you expecting them to use mouth and anus? Isn’t that a bit kinky for workplace @op

u/bonedaddy1974 44m ago

I work at a quarry,this is terrifying

u/MasterpieceNo7350 43m ago

Why?

All day long?

u/MoistTractofLand 43m ago

These rocks are making me THIRSTY

u/p1nkfr3ud 42m ago

Lovely hammer swinging technique.

u/Phatsy1 40m ago

I stood In a wheel barrow fell out and broke my elbow. And I wonder how these guys survive.

u/Sauceage88 37m ago

Using Hands and Feet…… plus a huge sledge hammer lol

u/boredsittingonthebus 37m ago

It's sad that it's just a matter of time until these guys get seriously injured, or worse.

u/squareartistry8 35m ago

That spinning shaft next to his leg is giving me anxiety

u/HorrorLARPer 33m ago

One wrong step or piece of clothes getting pulled, and it's not just the rocks getting crushed.

u/HelpFindThisSpoon 33m ago

Never ceases to baffle me how little regard these people have for their own safety.

u/Popular-Impact-7665 33m ago

I did that same job one summer. That was the drities, nosiest job ever. He is good with the hammer. If the rock won't go through the crusher jaw you have to rig it out of there. That's less fun then singing a sledge

u/YouNeedAnne 32m ago

He walked on the stone while it was in the crusher...

u/Odd-Tip-7603 31m ago

Something tells me that one of these dudes will appear on the Next Faces of Death video

u/ranjithd 30m ago

living in the stone age

u/demfook 30m ago

...someone fell down there atleast once right?

u/Jets1026 28m ago

there's got to be better ways to do this lol

u/Warm-Revenue5135 28m ago

His foot near that spinning wheel though.

u/Overall-Injury7095 27m ago

I was in for the duration there. If that video had lasted 9 hours I was going to stay the course.

u/Disintegration_007 27m ago

OSHA isn’t even a glint in that government’s eye yet, huh?

u/StateOk9278 22m ago

Thanks, now I like my office job again.

u/convexconcepts 18m ago

The dude with hammer and baggy pants is mere inches away from the spinning part and is in extreme danger of getting his clothes caught in the machine

u/folarin1 18m ago

The efficiency of that machine is -0.246...less than zero

u/usposeso 18m ago

Sorry but these guys are idiots.

u/8swordsTom 17m ago

Why do the most bizarre videos about workplace safety always come from India?

u/LemmyLola 16m ago

Careful you dont get any pizza dough bits in there and ruin the gravel

u/a-pilot 16m ago

Thumbs up if you still have 2 thumbs!

Wearing baggy clothes while standing inches from that giant flywheel is definitely a choice.

u/kilygonz 13m ago

Breaking rocks in the hot sun

u/MajorAd3363 12m ago

I had to stop watching when the dude straddles the unguarded flywheel.

HFS

u/LordVixen 12m ago

OSHA approved 👍

u/rinkydinkis 12m ago

Who designs and manufactures these death trap machines. And why are they wearing their customary dress and sandals to work if that’s their job. Idiots

u/Cburda 11m ago

Bugs Bunny makes it look so easy

u/sawsawjim 11m ago

The flywheel right behind his foot is far more dangerous and would probably just rip his leg off. It has a lot of inertia.

u/Objective_Mousse7216 10m ago

He just fell into the role really....

u/Bright-Strength4182 10m ago

Did you say bone crushing machine

u/Nunov_DAbov 9m ago

This is a training video for new employees.

Standing on a rock that is supported by the one you are trying to get loose is certainly the best way to get those rocks moving along. These obviously are the guys with cat-like reflexes, ready to jump out of the way. The rest didn’t pass the course.

u/haveyoutriedpokingit 9m ago

I was fine until he out his foot beside that flywheel thing. I said Yikessss.

u/chwynphat 9m ago

Seems like they are doing most of the crushing

u/Hopeful_Ad_7719 8m ago

A job where you not only know your boss thinks your life is worse less than gravel, but where you agree with him.

u/TipAndRare 8m ago

I fucking love their tiktok channel.
one of them, CrusherKing, has just very on the nose tough guy machismo type titles and descriptions. Very homo-erotic

"Big strong men crush giant stones with the strength of REAL POWER. Crushing machines make short work of weak stones with the labor of POWERFUL MEN
Follow for more from CrusherKing!"

u/MadMaxAtax 7m ago

Finish him!

u/Reasonable_Bid3311 6m ago

I mean why use a long metal pole when you have a strong leg? what could possibly go wrong?

u/30yearCurse 5m ago

Get in the Chopper....

u/Hot-Junket-8681 5m ago

Machines probably got a 30-40 year bell curve body count.

u/Personal-Toy-2026 5m ago

I hope EHS never sees this video.

u/Common_Senze 5m ago

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom

u/Cute-Advisor-2323 5m ago

Not only that but the spinning wheel behind him is going to rip him right off of there if his pants gets caught
