soundtrack already sounds like a banger. This game is going to slap so hard if they have proper level design

They did such an awesome job with Rogue Prince of Persia's music, and they seem to have kept both a similar art style and music style for this

Is it the same team?

While the soundtrack isn't bad, it's clearly not castlevania. Far from it. Far from being as good as what castlevania is known for. Based on every trailer, preview i've seen. This isn't even discussable.

It's clear that this kind of music is targeting the younger audience. So i'm happy for you.

"I personally don't like this music while you do, so you must be young"

Great logic there bro

Edit: The gatekeeper blocked me lmao. It's always the people with the shittiest arguments that block you after putting in the final word.

I'm not your brother, and this has nothing to do with anything personal. If you honestly can't tell the difference between Castlevania music and this, then keep digging your hole. But thats fine. Everyone is good in something. Music isn't it for you. So maybe you are good in cooking, putting things together. Who the fuck knows.

You know that when you reply and then block someone, it just comes off as desperate and pathetic, right? If you’re gonna be smarmy and shitty, also be tough enough to take the shit you get for it without turning to tricking other people into thinking you won an argument.

Looks way better than I expected definitely keeping an eye on this one

They are not communicating around the switch 2: free upgrade paths, releasing later etc. With Konami I will not take risks and patiently wait for the S2 info

I like Castlevania and the studio behind this game made Dead Cells which is awesome, just hoping for more visibility for S2, a lot of sales are going to be on S2 convinced of it

Outside of the art, I just didn’t like Dead Cell. Big part of it was the roguelike genre’s repetition. So I’m really hoping a more straightforward story is more my style. Also looking forward to a S2 version.

I'm the opposite. I didn't like the art of dead Cells. It's fake pixel art. Polygons with a retro filter. The rest was awesome, and the controls absolutely spot on.

Aren't most Nintendo Switch 2 games pretty vague about how that is done?

I've never played a Castlevania, but Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia are awesome so I'm looking forward to this

Oh dude. You’ve missed out on some amazing action platformers. The DS and GBA Castlevanias are on Steam and those are amazing metroidvanias.

Seeing classic franchises return with passion is special because it feels like a piece of our gaming childhood is coming back to life again

About castles and Vanias.

Knew a girl called Vania once.

2

u/SuperBanti 2h ago

Did she own a castle?

2

u/RuySan 2h ago

I doubt it. I think she was a poor.

Ahh so they've replaced the Metroids for Castles? Bold move for them. Lets see if it pays off.

I love the music

Is it just me or would castlevania be a perfect game for the 2DHD style?

-1

u/RuySan 2h ago

No. There's mirror of fate, and it's shit.

Sure, it's not only because of the aesthetics, but the aesthetics don't help either.

Doesn't feel like Castlevania at all, but looks awesome anyway.

Hi dead cell, we meet again.

u/wicktus Switch 5h ago

It’s going to be quite different from my understanding, it’s not a rogue-like

Don't fool yourself, the have blood cell gameplay in their mind. It's not rogue but surely everything else is just dead cell like.

For me a big no. I compared a gif from dead cell and this Castlevania. Nobody could tell the difference in gameplay and art.

Not really aside of being not rogue like, everything else screams dead cell.

Rogue like is just a way that a game work. One is based on backtracking, the other one is based on mainly replaying randomized levels.

But that doesn't change the gameplay (character controls), art and music. Which are the 3 key factors of gaming.

I like dead cell, so it's always good to have something new from them.
But it's clearly not castlevania

Lol "Let me give you a lesson on something pretty much every gamer age 5+ already knows."

0

u/xtoc1981 4h ago

Including a rogue like mode in dkbanaza doesn't change the gameplay art and music. How is this even difficult to understand roblox kid? People always throws that argument "it's not rogue like", so what? If you even use that kind of argument, you know a damn about what the point is here.

Damn right, fools for downvoting you for actually telling the truth. Probably by dead cell fanbase
