If he votes MAGA all the time and gives Democrats control of the Senate, then all the committees will have Democrats running them, which matters.

The committee chairs decide things like what to hold hearings on. I'm not a fan of Fetterman, but his threat to switch parties is going to have the party leadership on edge because their personal power goes way up if their party controls the Senate.

His term runs until Jan 2029 and control of that seat could determine which party controls the senate for two years after the upcoming elections. I'd suspected he would switch parties if progressive looked like they were going to get anything on their wish list, so for me this is just confirmation, but word needs to get out to more people.

Oh no! Who would have thought that this remarkable person is not who he pretended to be.

Fetterman a mayor of a was the mayor of PA town and he thought he heard gunshots. He sees a black jogging so he chases the man down with his truck and holds a gun to his chest until police arrive. Fetterman never apologized and the victim did not press charges.

This was in 2013 and yet he was elected with the excuses granted only to a mediocre white man that 'he did that thing but I can overlook it because he's sorry and we all make mistakes and he is going to take care if us because he's a real man'.
