No, but it is the exact same scenario -- a guy whose marriage is on the rocks being photographed with a girlfriend. The Democrat is exiled from politics, the Republican is rewarded with a higher ranking position. It was true 4 decades ago and remains true today.
I think 40 years of this gross double standard is enough, personally. I know I'm sick of it. Ready to hold every Republican accountable to the law and proper conduct and decorum befitting the office. There may not be many remaining if we hold to this principle, but that's how fairness and equality roll.
