Discussion Disability Benefits and Supports (Saskatchewan)
Hi everyone!
I’m a local lived experience mental health advocate and nerd, not necessarily in that order.
I wanted to share a free resource I’ve been working on for anyone in Saskatchewan navigating disability benefits. I’m not selling anything this is a free resource for anyone, as are all my resources. I am based in YXE, but most Sask and Fed resources apply across Sask.
Over the past while, I’ve put together a comprehensive guide covering things like the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), Canada Disability Benefit (CDB), RDSP, SK Housing Benefit, Special Support Program (meds), tax credits and other financial and related supports.
It’s designed to save people from having to dig through dozens of government websites trying to figure out what they might qualify for. Everything is organized in one place with links to official sources.
I know how overwhelming this stuff can be, so I hope it makes things a little easier for people. Please do share with anyone who may find it useful.
You can find it via the link or visit Mentalhealthyxe.com -> Resources -> Disability Benefits
Hope this helps!
