Sorry for the tardiness.
What awesome happening do you want the community to know about?

We have had a burst of threads about the data centre lately. So, let’s do another mega thread to keep it all in one place to keep this place from getting spammy. Have at it, folks!

I had previously submitted a public gripe here lamenting the lack of any World Cup Team Canada watch parties, so it's only fair that I use this platform to promote that something positive is happening in our city on this front (and yes, FIFA still sucks, I know...)
Credit goes to Regina City Councillor Victoria Flores for helping to bring the community together as the sun sets on the 2026 World Cup.
From her FB page:
📍 Wascana Park Queen Elizabeth II Ground, West Green Space 📅 Sunday, July 19 | 10:30am – 5:00pm 🎟️ FREE, open to everyone
Food trucks, a massive screen, and activities for the whole family. Grab your chair, bring your people, and let’s make some noise together.

I need a haircut tomorrow or shortly. #2 guard, razor the neck and trim the eyebrows. Who am I going to Regina?

People routinely go into the left turn lane, but go straight through because the left turn lanes north / south line up with the straight through lane on the other side. If you look east / west, those are set up properly. The left turn lanes east / west are offset so you KNOW you can't go straight through.
I go through this intersection north / south multiple times daily with the intent to go straight through in the straight through lane, but routinely, the person sitting in the left turning lane next to me doesn't even realize it's a left turn lane and tries to come through straight as well right beside me at the same time.
It's a terrible setup.

Anywhere that has proper Chinese bbq pork/ sausage/duck over rice? Lunch box/canto style?
Thank you

Hello,
I just got a note from the city that I need a permit for my above ground pool. Has anyone else done this? My fence is 6 feet and both of my gates lock. I am filing the permit and then an inspector should come out. Should this inspection be pretty straight forward?

Does anyone know where I can get my feet assessed for proper running shoes in Regina. I used to love the running room but they don’t do that anymore I guess and my feet are suffering lol

I'm considering an offer with O&T Farms at their Winnipeg office. I know their headquarters are in Regina, but I haven't been able to find much information about the company since it seems to be a fairly small team in WPG.
Has anyone worked there? What was your experience? the company culture, management, work-life balance, or anything else you'd be willing to share. Thanks!

If you are, please think about this:
He will no doubt eventually play Copperhead Road. You don't have to yell it after every damn song.
He will have a set list that he wants to follow. The show has a deliberate flow to it. He wants to follow that flow. If you're a fan, you'll let him do that and encourage him along the way. If you aren't a fan, why would you bother going?
Best way to make artists hate their own song, regardless how much money it's made them is to keep yelling it at them and interrupting them.
99.9% of us will be there to listen and applaud a guy whose arguably the best songwriter of our time. (I did say arguably) But there always seems to be that guy who is perhaps experiencing alcohol for the first time.
Please don't be that guy.

Hi Regina!
I need to get a tube put into a tiny (11x4.0-5) tire for a lawn mower, and for the life of me I can't do it without wrecking the tube. Does anyone have experience with a place that can do this for me?
I'm also interested in replacing the tires if I can get them.. they're old and cracking, but I can't seem to find that size on any tire shop websites.
I'm aware that they are available all set up on Amazon, but I'd rather hire a local place (even if it's a tire chain) if it's feasible.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey folks. We're driving in from Winnipeg this weekend to catch The Odyssey in your beautiful 70mm IMAX screen, and I'm looking to book a nice dinner before the movie Saturday night. We are pretty open to any type of cuisine, and enjoy places that have a good selection of small plates. My fiancee is pescatarian, so we'll need some good seafood or vegetarian options.
Thanks, and go Bombers!

Just wondering where all the nice flowers are this year that normally would be in the planters along the medians lining Rochdale Blvd this summer? The crew always did such a great job each year maintaining them. Is it not in the budget this year? Just an observation and to let whomever know that little addition of colour is missed.

Anyone have a Triangle MC and use it to pay for Culligan bills? If so, which payee name do you use? The closest options I have are Culligan Water Condition.-Saskatoon and Culligan Water (Prince Albert) SK
I've gone back and forth with CTFS and Culligan to see if they can be added to the list; CTFS says the business has to contact their bank and request to be added to the "National Billers List", which they've verified and confirmed that they already are, and they should be because I have them set up in two other accounts that I have with different banks. Payee names for the other 2 banks are slightly different, but both are correct, Culligan Stewart-Sask and Culligan Stewart Water - Sask

I just wanted to see if there is a food delivery app that people believe is better compared to other ones? Apps like Skip the Dishes, Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc. Just want to see if people have a favourite one they use for any certain reasons.

Hey, I just wanted to write this here because I’ve noticed a trend of people mocking / shaming those who are on the streets homeless. I personally find it disgusting that a human can see another human struggling and go to how they can make fun of them / feel superior for being in a stronger position.
It truly is very disheartening to see, there’s a difference between not being in a place to help, or even wanting to help, and shaming, mocking, and ridiculing those who have dealt with more pain and misfortune / loss than we could process with how our lives are.
If these same exact people were put into the exact same situation as these homeless people as children, with the same psychological development, they’d also be struggling, so why do they need to act like they have some superiority as a living breathing being, as if any person is born deciding to live on the streets and do drugs. Rather than it being seen as the complex socio economic and cultural issue it really is, it gets resorted to the person struggling just being a bad person, even if it was a high number of people struggling that were bad people, why instantly make fun of any homeless person when they don’t even know how they got there or how close they themselves could be to it?

We are going to grab an ice cream from Dessart on 13th or bring a treat from somewhere else and we will be reading, finding a spot to sit solely on vibes. 🍫Marokena Coffee & Taste - Golden Mile
📍3806 Albert St, Regina, SK
I don’t typically get something sweet for breakfast, so this past weekend was an exception! My brother, sister and I went to Marokena specifically for their delicious crepes.
In order of the photos: Strawberry Pistachio Crêpe ($18.25), Strawberry Nutella Crêpe ($15.25), Pesto Chicken Mushroom Crêpe ($17.25), Taro Matcha ($7.35), Brown Sugar Boba Milktea ($7.35), and Pistachio Latte ($7.35?).
I managed to snag a bite and sip from everything thanks to my gracious siblings!
My brother and sister really enjoyed their crêpes. While the exterior of the Pesto Chicken Crêpe was visually bland, the interior at least tasted really good. My sister really enjoyed her Nutella Crêpe. I would highly recommend the Pistachio Strawberry because it isn’t as sweet as the Nutella nor is it as savoury as the chicken pesto, it was just right for me. Good flavours all around. However, it is expensive for what you get.
My sister really enjoyed her Boba tea, while my brother enjoyed his pistachio latte. They would both order them again and I agree that they tasted good. I was unfortunately let down by my Matcha. For $7.35, I didn’t taste matcha, only that low quality powdery taro mix that some bubble tea places use. Would not recommend. I didn’t drink all of it either.
While there were some visual, price and flavour let downs, the experience was ok. With the drink and food menu being extremely vast, it makes me concerned they’re stretching themselves too thin. This would also explain the high prices unfortunately

Curious of opinion, maybe I’m just out of touch. Is it time for organizations to stop going door to door for donations? Is it not just incredibly annoying when someone shows up on your door step to give their spiel and when you cave in to their ask, it’s not even a simple process to donate. Do not get me wrong, donating is important, but there’s gotta be ways that are more enticing than this. Just seems like a tactic of a past generation.

Name pretty explanatory. Is there anywhere you could find a chess game in the park? Thanks!
Been going for hours. Constant, high pitched ringing.

What is the best tanning salon in Regina? One that changes the bulbs often so you actually get some colour without having to go 4-5 days in a row.
