looking for martian manhunter comic recommendations. preferably from the 90s but any decade is fine!! (+bonus pts if the art is amazing) ive read absolute mm and want to know more about j'onn.

I make videos about the Martian Manhunter. This is the 29th. It is about the Joe Kelly run and Fernus the Burning.

Had a lot of fun putting together the display! Unfortunately the big guy doesn't quite fit on the shelf.

With season 3 of MAWS coming around and a spin off for Green Lantern in the works, people will undoubtedly be thinking about what other characters could get a show. Wonder Woman and The Flash are obvious choices but I think Martian Manhunter could justify it as well. He hasn't always had a consistent solo series but neither has Starfire and she's getting a show. Also, no hate to Absolute MM but I'd prefer if they gave some screen time to his older stories first.

I just realized both of the protagonists of these Martian stories have the same first name. I know Joseph Samachson was a sci-fi writer so did he name J'onn after John or was it just a coincidence?
