Anybody else experiencing this or no how to fix it? I’m playing on steam using an Xbox elite series 2 controller. No I don’t have any cheat software or whatever people use to cheat at video games. I’m not aware of any background programs I have running that might cause the issue. I’ve tried restarting my computer and the game multiple times. The game seems to be running fine and then I’ll just randomly DC and get this error. It lets me re-connect but I don’t really like having to be a sitting duck for a couple minutes in a game this high stakes lol

I've been having performance issues since I started to the game for the first time. Im having unstable 64-54 on the lowest low settings, and I mean LOWEST LOW like 1600x900, low textures etc.

I am running the game on my laptop and I know Marathon is not officially supported on Laptops but is there anyway I can boost my fps?

(EDIT) I kinda solved the issue I was having. For those who play on laptops, read this part closely.

I'm using my laptop in dGPU-only mode, which means the drivers weren't able to detect the Intel graphics driver properly. And also I had to delete the intel graphics driver some time ago for a test and then I forgot to reinstall Long story short, I didn't realize I dont have the CPU driver and it did't have been updated for a while :/

Well optimisation is still dogshit but at least it runs at 70-80 fps stable on lowest settings

Just check whether this is the same case with your PC or not.

Go into your BIOS, switch to Hybrid mode, and restart your PC. Then open Intel Driver & Support Assistant (for Intel users). It will show you which drivers are missing. Install the missing drivers, then go back into the BIOS again and switch back to dGPU Only mode.

Your laptop should perform better afterward.

Anyone heard anything about a hot fix? I played one game a few hours ago and it worked fine. Now it's doing the same shit it was doing yesterday. And I would just play trios but my vault is too full to bring a free kit lol. Just tryna play the game I love 🫠

I looked up “yam” on help.bungie.net and it literally doesn’t exist. I’ve reset my Xbox, done the power cycling and everything, reset my router, and it still isn’t working. I was in the middle of a night marsh run with 2 purple weapons and blue shields. I’m gonna lose it all and I don’t even know wtf happened

I downloaded the deluxe edition of marathon today, and my TCL HDR tv doesn’t support VRR on my ps5, and I’m unsure how to fix the stuttering issue. It usually happens when I’m sprinting or walking.

Its been happening more and more. Its always random, sometimes in matches, sometimes just in the lobby and sometimes loading in with no consistency. The game typically runs fine though at 90-95% cpu at 60fps but at random my whole pc will slow to a crawl for about 20 seconds, ending in a "time skew maxed" error, and having to reconnect after which the game will go back to running normally.

Title says it all! Goal is to make at gold in ranked this season. Didn’t play ranked last season but just played a few runs and it’s obviously the best way to get loot outside of cryo.

Hey all, wondering if anyone is dealing with error codes today? I got dropped from a load in on dire like a half hour ago and now I am getting constant error codes.

I’ve seen Weasel, Chicken, and Buzzard.

Tried a reinstall, changed my account Xbox live subscription level, reset router, modem, and console and same issue.

Anyone else seeing error codes or had to deal with this?

Won’t get any response from Bungie today since it’s Saturday and July 4th.

I only need cryo 04 and 06 subs before compiler can someone help me get my first compiler kill?
I have good gear and I ccan hold my own I just need someone experienced who can carry me a bit. (im from eu just so you know i dont care about playing with players from other regions)

Hey everyone, hoping to get some assistance from other Runners. I'm having trouble completing some of the Priority Contracts when I run with randoms (who all have their own objectives) or when I try to play solo.

I'll be completely honest, I'm not great at PvP - but I'm also not exactly asking for a carry. I do my best, I don't shy from a fight, I listen to call outs and do my own, I'm just not great at it... I'm getting better though! I just want to be upfront that while I will do my best to pull my weight, if we get into a fight I am very likely not going to be on your level lol which is why I need help with these Contracts.

So if you're down to squad up and help a fellow Runner out, I would really appreciate the assistance. If not, totally understand!

This is the most bizarre thing. Yesterday, my vault was maxed out when I logged out at 480/480. Today, I log in and my vault is sitting at 321/480, and apparently, I'm only missing a whole bunch of guns. I had at least 5 gold guns sitting in my vault collecting dust, and a whole bunch of Twin Tap's (at least 4, maybe 5 or 6).. Now I'm sitting at just 1 gold weapon, a twin tap, and few smaller guns like a couple magnums, a bully, couple kkvs and wstrs, and a d54. I'm so confused. The loadout I logged out with yesterday is still equipped, down to the items in my bag I left in there, so it's not like someone got on my account and played.. My credits are still super low at 6k, so they weren't somehow sold. What is the world is going on??

Update: I figured it out, and it's something I would have never expected. I have a habit of minimizing my game on occasion and forgetting about it while I do other things, sometimes even playing other games while it's minimized. This has never really been a problem before, but I just started playing an old game that I prefer to play with a controller as opposed to my standard keyboard/mouse setup. I'm sure you can see where this is going, but something I absolutely did not know until I just tested it, was that apparently, controller input in marathon still accepts input while the game is minimized. So here I am, playing away on this new game w/ my controller, none the wiser that I was apparently doing a whole bunch of random crap within my vault. I had already checked my credits so I knew they weren't sold since I was still sitting at around 6k, but something I didn't check was my damned cradle. Sure enough, there are 10 unused points just sitting there. I went from level 35 to 45 apparently from selling almost all of my best guns. I knew it was weird that only my best guns were missing, but it makes sense since those were listed on the top. I'm betting the action wasn't done all in one go, as I played this controller game for like 3 hours.. I'm thinking I was selecting a gun or 2 at a time, selling to cradle, then the menu would reset to the top of the list, leaving only my worst blue/green tier pistols and small smg's by the end. I'm soooo pissed
