This is the twitch bitrate limit. Nothing to do with the camera.

There is no way he is at the limit. Other streams don't get this bad nowadays. He probably never changed his OBS settings in 10 years.

Its because of the distortion effect on the screen, the encoder shits itself with images like that.

I meannnn it kinda does. Why would you spend shit ton of money for camera that wont be even able to show better quality cause of bitrate limit lol

Do you know how bitrate works? You could have the best camera in the world and it wouldn't matter.

u/Zamoxino 14h ago

Thats what im saying bozo. Why did he bought "5000$ cam" if he is limited by bitrate

This is actually how he looks like IRL after playing minecraft for years

Dont forget the improperly used/configured pop-filter which does nothing for him.

isn't the dev known to harass streamers by manually sending jumpscares and preventing people from beating the game if they talked shit about it?

45

u/skaired 20h ago

yes, it caused a huge stir which prompted them to remove that feature which lets them control peoples games

12

u/4everdrowninginpools 20h ago

wtf, how can they do that? is there some backdoor shit in the game that the dev can just hop into someones game and mess with it?

(i'm very ignorant on game devlopment, sorry if this question is stupid)

i don't remember exactly how it worked, but it was borderline malware.

when Markiplier streamed the game while trying to beat it on a very hard mode, he got very pissed at the game and shit talked it. then the game became unbeatable for him because the AI suddenly became extremely aggressive.

a speedrunner also had issues with the dev, to a point he had multiple steam accounts to try and avoid him.

u/aurens 15h ago

why do all that and not just block the game's internet access via firewall?

2

u/cbl_owener123 7h ago

like i said, i don't remember how it works, it's years ago. there are videos explaining the whole situation.

7

u/nokutous_ 14h ago

markiplier just made mistakes, the dev never messed with his game

2

u/cbl_owener123 7h ago

there are plenty of videos explaining the whole situation, and showing how abnormal Mark's game suddenly became.

5

u/Mysticpex007 4h ago

There's plenty of videos debunking the whole situation. The markiplier situation happened before the back-door update happened

There's plenty of videos showing me doing both of your mums, and that was just around when the back-door update happened.

borderline malware

Having an online component to your game is not borderline malware.

-9

u/cbl_owener123 16h ago

the dev were personally effecting streamer's games, sometimes making them unbeatable if he didn't like what they said. that's not just an online component.

19

u/AccomplishedCheck168 15h ago

That's not malware though. It's not like the developer was able to remote into your PC or modify the files on your system. He strictly had access to your game session. It's really petty and stupid, but its far from malware, which the distribution of is a crime.

u/cbl_owener123 7h ago

i said "borderline malware".

Happened like 1 time probably, cause I've seen it. He also helped a streamer beat the game cause of a bug that prevented him from finishing the game on release

the dev sounds like what if you mix assmoldgold and piratesoftware viewer

No idea, but he was often in distortions streams when he was speedrunning wttg2, never got a bad impression of him, so it's probably "just" an ego issue.

1

u/Apoptosis11 19h ago

in which specific games did he do that shit? was dead signal one of them? i have watched at least 20+ hours of that game and never heard of this in the stream's community

1

u/Calciferr 19h ago

It was WTTG2.

5

u/blimeycorvus 18h ago

Funny enough, he also had a game announced 10 years ago with a patreon that he never made. It's called rides with strangers

4

u/Colsanders8 9h ago

The game that he refunded everyone. That game?
