Back then it was just fun content, twitch/streaming was a completely different space than what it is today. To be fair to them many of these women were trail blazers for women in the space, back then it was very much male dominated compared to today. But yeah nobody cared about how it seemed, "degrading" and "leech like" weren't words really uttered. Just some friends having a laugh. Been downhill since.

Marriage is a function of the state even if we like to think of it as something between two people. Choosing not to get married leaves out a lot of legal protections and rights for both partners. Some states/countries have work arounds for this but they usually require some level of effort to the point where you may as well just sign the marriage papers with no ceremony.

When you create the birth certificate you name the kid whatever you want. So it can have the mothers last name, the fathers last name, or you can give it whatever last name you want. You can give it the last name poop or ding dong if you want.

Somewhat true but also very much not. You can pick the name for them and it doesnt technically have to follow the parents surname...
You cannot name it anything you want and you certainly cant do "poop or ding dong" in most places. When you submit a birth certificate its not just automatically accepted, if you attempt to do stupid shit they will just reject it.
In the UK and many US states they can choose to reject if they believe its malicous or will cause the child bullying/distress. You cant use numbers/symbols, profanity etc. This goes for both first and last names.
This is all with the caveat that its up to the person reading the birth certificate at the time and in many states they just dont really care.And traditionally its defaulted to the fathers surname in most places.

In my country, if the child is born out of wedlock, the default surname will be the mother's. The father has to file a claim that recognizes them as their kid (paternity). The child is then able to use their last name.

Looked it up seems like the parents can simply choose the last name. Most non married people with kids I know the kid had the mothers last name, so made the assumption that was the standard rule

FWIW everyone ive ever met whos parents have been together during the birth has the fathers surname and most the time its taken even when separated.
The only time I've known people to take their mothers maiden name is when the father is completely out the picture.
I looked it up and in the US 95% of children have the fathers surname in the the UK its 96%.

Yea, his growth chart is pretty insane. He first met QT on May 17th 2019 according to google when he was around 300 viewers, and around half a year later, he had around 3k. Another half a year? 8k. And this continues until his subathon where he had around 40k concurrent for days at a time in 2021. So it only took him 2 years.

He was a Smash Bros Melee commentator before he became a big streamer. He worked for Beyond the Summit, which was a Smash tournament organizer that did small invitational streamed tournaments in a house. They would usually play mafia IRL on stream with the players and staff as a group event after the tournament games were done for the day. As a Smash fan and someone who enjoys mafia, I remember thinking "who is this Ludwig guy?" because everyone most everyone else was a player in the event, but he was really good at mafia. So him doing really well with Among Us made a lot of sense since it's basically the same game.

Ludwig first grew when Among Us broke out at the start of covid. He was big on that. Then it was really one event that did that launched him into the moon. He started the subathon with 1,730 subscriptions and ended it with 282,191 subscriptions

Yeah, if you’re that serious about someone clearly you’ve met their family a number of times. By that point, I’d been to 2 of their family christmases, and my fiancée’s niece was more excited to see me than she was her.
I think if I had pulled my father in law aside and asked him at a family holiday he’d have said yes, but I could tell he appreciated the fact I asked him out to lunch, and considered how he would appreciate being traditional about it
