Really great influence on his young audience. What a stand up guy 👍

727

u/chumbawumbathefirst Mar 02 '26

At least the chat was full of people being angry at him about it, they may have been the dominant opinion in there.

u/FoleyX90 Mar 02 '26

true 😂

u/LtSMASH324 🐷 Hog Squeezer Mar 02 '26

I can't even tell what that person is saying.

243

u/Relative-Mess-3157 Mar 02 '26

He's was saying the way Silky is cutting through traffic is giving him a boner no bullshit.

118

u/Smerfcy Mar 02 '26

He’s turned on but Nbs=no butt stuff.

I don't know why anybody would want NBS if that's the case. It's the best part.

Worst thing about influencers is how we all assume it meant to influence the younger audience.. the term comes from ‘brand influencers’.. they are just meant to convince us to buy stuff lol.. makes it so much worse

2

u/flitik Mar 02 '26

Nobody who is watching an ex faze member is part of the younger audience lol. Faze was popular 20 years ago

2

u/GoblinsProblem Mar 02 '26

It’s okay speed since Same thing a year a half ago and you all worship him now

46

u/FrigginRan Mar 02 '26

all i can imagine is them taking out a car full of kids or something.

34

u/FreekRedditReport Mar 02 '26

They always take out innocent people. They never take out themselves. Always.

35

u/EggwithEdges Mar 02 '26

Lost my brother to reckless driver, these people make me seethe with rage

869

u/TheAnymus Mar 01 '26

mfs will have millions in the bank and never think about going to a track or something

people need to stop doing things for others and start doing for themselves

86

u/TheEmulat0r Mar 01 '26

Really need some of these guys to hook up with Jake for one of his track days. The one with Myth was super cool and it had way less viewers than it should have...

10

u/TheAnymus Mar 01 '26

are you talking about that one streamer F4 event?

58

u/TheEmulat0r Mar 02 '26

Naw I'm talking about Jakenbake. He does track day streams in Cali all the time with his GT4RS and his Civic. He recently started a new series where he brings other streamers with their own cars to do their first track day, and he had Myth on for the first episode.

23

u/SlayTalon Mar 02 '26

Myth is going about it the right way too. He's been grinding tons of iRacing to get reps in. He's not very good yet but it honestly is the effort that counts.

5

u/TheAnymus Mar 02 '26

oh thats cool

2

u/dankmemer999 Mar 02 '26

Oh very cool

Can’t believe he has a gt4rs wow streaming pays

2

u/Kiidkxxl Mar 02 '26

i watched that stream live. It was so good.

u/Zrkkr Mar 02 '26

You can still have fun Ripping around and feeling lateral 2gs

13

u/Sour______ Mar 02 '26

he would get his ego hurt getting lapped by a random, he'd rather endanger innocent lives

9

u/OddBranch132 Mar 02 '26

He'd quit as soon as the Miatas pass him

3

u/Basic_Loquat_9344 Mar 02 '26

Those damned Miatas are demons

3

u/ProcyonHabilis Mar 02 '26 edited Mar 02 '26

Road cars without huge amounts of aero absolutely can not pull anywhere near 2 lateral Gs. Most "normal" fast cars are around 1G, and most high downforce race cars are doing more like 1.5g at best. The numbers you're imagining don't exist until you get up into the really crazy prototype classes and formula cars.

disgusting

982

u/sodaG123 Mar 02 '26

This should have always been an automatic perma ban from the get go. It's just a matter of time before some moron streams themselves driving recklessly, kills a family of four, and everyone looks back and wonders why this type of behavior didn't result in an automatic perma to begin with. There should be zero tolerance for this type of behavior.

127

u/housefromtn Mar 02 '26

I've made this exact comment almost word for word before. It's 100% gonna happen exactly like you said. There's gonna be some poor innocent family that gets killed by this dumbass behavior and then twitch will make it a zero tolerance thing so they don't get sued for their own liability going forward.

So like why not just skip the step where someone has to needlessly die? It's so frustrating. Twitch should just do the common sense thing already.

34

u/Prestigious-Lynx5664 Mar 02 '26

I mean I think they'd have a hard time fighting the liablity when something does happen. The amount of clips they can play to a jury is endless, and none of them got banned.

20

u/worst_bluebelt Mar 02 '26

Exactly right! That's exactly the kind of bad fact pattern that would get Twitch locked into years of court battles.

IMO:  streaming illegal acts, including reckless driving, should come with a permanent ban, and withholding of all revenue not yet released.

11

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '26

One thing I'll give China credit for is that this kind of thing would get you banned from social media instantly.

15

u/bannedforL1fe Mar 02 '26

It would lower your social credit score. Go low enough and no public transportation or certain stores will accept you.

No seatbelt. Just insanely low iq behavior. Somebody big enough to matter is gonna die in stream here soon and they will finally ban streaming in cats.

Natural selection will take over soon.

26

u/Fooby56 Mar 02 '26

Didn't Shane Dawson stream in a cat or something? I thought that was why he got banned.

The problem is this waste will possibly take an innocent person or people with him.

Best case scenario is he hits a tree

3

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '26

Totally agree. Twitch has seen plenty of people get injured in car crashes streamed on their platform. They won’t give a fuck until one makes the news after a person or note dies.

Sad, but is what it is

→ More replies (1)

6

u/Zukouh Mar 02 '26

None of these ex faze guys wear seatbelts… it’s insanely stupid

4

u/CityFolkSitting Mar 02 '26

I feel like Twitch should ban everyone who doesn't wear a seatbelt for 24 hours for the first offence. Then 7 days for a second time and 30 days for a third.

People would smarten up real fast.

Ideally they would ban streaming in cars. But they won't do that because viewership will drop if streamers put up static "brb traveling" screen s, and so will ad revenue.

Literal children only think this is cool

96

u/jamesconnell15 Mar 02 '26

I've seen only one wreck in person and it was a dude driving like this he lost control 3 cars in front of me and slammed into another car.... I seen a teenager fly out the side window halfway as the car rolled, smashing him ...I have never and I mean NEVER forgot seeing that limp body stuck in the window as it rolled .... 4 people hurt 2 dead... They literally need to start locking these people up.

32

u/bannedforL1fe Mar 02 '26

I rarely get angry. But super idiots killing innocent people is one of the things that does it. If I was Supreme Ruler, drinking and driving would be 10 years for first offense, and public hanging for the second. Real quick you wont see people doing it anymore. Reckless driving is just barely better but the penalties will be higher than they currently are.

4

u/SummertimeThrowaway2 Mar 02 '26

They only lock them up after somebody gets killed. Until then, all they get is a suspended driver’s license (they’ll just drive without it)

6

u/PlaneShenaniganz Mar 02 '26

That's awful. Sorry you had to see that :(

why? isnt the historical precedent that if you get caught looking at your phone it's gg?

How hard is it to send this to local news station? I feel like this is something they would show on the news.

They would have to dumb it down for the 70+ year old crowd who watches local news. "Streamer? What's that? Is he some sort of fisherman?"

"Urban street racers are posting live videos to take money from YOUR children." It's not that hard to speak boomerese

Rage can barely stop himself from calling someone the F word when hes upset with them lol. Ya really falling for this Rage rebrand when dude is extremely toxic at times he just knows when to hide his power level lol. I say this as someone who actually enjoys some of his content as well.

6

u/CityFolkSitting Mar 02 '26

Yeah I generally like Rage but he's just as dirty as the rest of them, his PR just got better over the years. But the real rage slips out every now and then.

45

u/LDBH18 Mar 01 '26

Rage legit was throwing up the nazi solute couple years ago, he’s not a good guy at all

35

u/Baby_Yod4 Mar 02 '26

You just saw a clip without context but if you want to hate on him go ahead. He was memeing other streamers doing it. Rage makes edgy jokes but he's not with that right wing nazi shit. Majority of his fanbase is black unlike cuffems

7

u/yerda_rey Mar 02 '26

Here's rage being extremely racist to Kenny Chao (who he didnt know at the time)

11

u/TanTan3656 Mar 02 '26

He can’t be racist or a bad guy though. He didn’t vote for Trump!!! It’s crazy how the people above be defining whether people are good or not based on their political affiliation. 98% of streamers on twitch or kick are selfish assholes who think they’re better than people that make less money than them.

5

u/Lopsided_Constant901 Mar 02 '26

Yeah I love Rage. He's usually on the right side of issues, like calling out ICE, Free Palestine, fuh Donald Trump. I forgot what the context was but I remember a clip of him saying basically "Don't bunch me in with all them far right mfers. It's been fuck ICE, " etc.

Fuck people like this for real. My mom was sitting at a stoplight and a crazed, speeding asshole crashed his truck into the car stopped right next to her, crushing and killing a family of 4. Fucking despicable. She's never been quite the same after seeing the mangled corpses of those people/kids smashed up in their car. Couldn't drive for over a yr without going into panic

People like this piss me off beyond belief. It is truly disgusting, despicable behavior and totally lacking of empathy. You're not just risking your own life. If you crash, youre likely to crush and kill other people too. Families. Kids. Babies. Dogs. Anyone. There is no way of knowing. And once you lose control, there is nothing you can do to take it back or change the outcome.

People who do this on roads with other cars should be absolutely ashamed of themselves

It's crazy that YouTube allows that shit to stay on. It's some boomer shit but I have reported that channel and videos for months now. My brother was killed by a "swimmer"

6

u/Lopsided_Constant901 Mar 02 '26

I'm so sorry about your loss, that's just fucking terrible. IMO Youtube is kind of like the wild west in terms of media sometimes. I remember seeing some antisemitic videos come up, and I thought geeze surely no one agrees with this right? And then the comments were filled with straight up Nazis, each comment getting like 5k likes....

5

u/Cantebury Mar 02 '26

Yeah I'm sure the reports go nowhere half the time. Like i said, maybe it's some boomer shit but it really bothers me it's allowed on YouTube and it has an audience. Like the crime is committed on camera, no one is going to even investigate this? You have the make and model of the rented car, the street signs of the areas he's in. You have people maskless in the car, you can identify them possibly. He's been in accidents. Like they could find him if someone cared. Some of the comments call it out atleast

Twitch needs to ban any filming from a moving vehicle. The streamers are too hungry for attention and hits that they are now actively endangering the general public.

Twitch ban and straight to jail

I don't understand why police don't just book these guys. They are recording themselves committing crime. Do the police not care? Is it just that no one has reported it?

Edit: just seen it's Mexico

Location: Mexico.

Is clearly in studio city at the 101/134 interchange near tajunga/moorpark at 8pm. (This interchange gets insane traffic, this is extremely dangerous)

I wonder if CHP can do anything with the blatantly incriminating footage. Fuck this idiot.

Not wrong, he deserves it.

But other people at big danger

2

u/crockoreptile Mar 01 '26

Fucking hell

2

u/Predator348 Mar 01 '26

It's pathetic when these morons film themselves committing these awful crimes and yet absolutely nothing happens to them, what the actual fuck!? Should be minimum mandatory loss of license!

2

u/jimjam--- Mar 01 '26

All fun and games until ya lose control

2

u/Next_Replacement_566 Mar 02 '26

Next career move: rapping….. wrapping it round a tree

2

u/Lopsided_Constant901 Mar 02 '26

This is so stupid. I liked the Faze guys content sometimes, wasn't like a die hard fan, thought Silky was cool if just annoying sometimes. But this is just straight up disgusting. What the fuck was he thinking? And literally in a selfish sense for him, why wouldn't you consider that you can lose EVERYTHING you built up just to look cool on camera? Dude's a self made millionaire, semi-successful on Twitch. Could probably retire already. But you wanna swim in traffic, potentially lose your life, kill someone, end up in jail for the next 15 years? Fucking idiot

2

u/FledglingHermit Mar 02 '26

There is a moment in this clip where he looks like he is going to hit a tight window for a pass, and you can see the van break to leave him the opening. Crazy to me that people do this and the coolest guy in the clip is whoever is driving the van with the awareness. Crazy too because the person he comes up behind breaks shortly thereafter. Dude got lucky people were watching out

2

u/UhOhTexasBro Mar 02 '26

Doing 110mph cutting in and out of lanes, brights on and a flash light in your face. Well atleast he won't be doing this for long.

2

u/Ordinary-Yogurt1072 Mar 02 '26

Has anyone reported this guy yet? He was in LA, surely he’s been arrested… pls.

2

u/DaLexy Mar 02 '26

Stuff like that should result in lifetime bans, unacceptable

2

u/FoolhardyJester Mar 02 '26

Fuck twitch, surely this can be reported to police? This guy shouldn't have a license.

2

u/Incorrect-Syntax1776 Mar 02 '26

He said it himself. Fatherless activities.

2

u/OkApplication9277 Mar 03 '26

Am I fucked up for hoping they crash every time I see a video like this?

2

u/HogisGuy Mar 03 '26

What's with dumbass streamers that put people in danger for content?! They need harsher punishment, I'm telling you

2

u/CarmineCorpse Mar 03 '26

Easy. Take his keys. Suspend his license. For life. Lock him up. Redact all the money he's earned. Donate it to charity. People like these dont need to be in society.

2

u/GhostEagle68 Mar 03 '26

Terrible music. Terrible life decisions. I'll never understand watching these bozos

2

u/thewob1012 Mar 03 '26

In the UK this would be more than enough evidence for the police to charge him with some kind of reckless driving charge. It doesn't work like that in America or what? How is he able to get away with this?

2

u/evergreen4851 Mar 03 '26

Locked up for life.

2

u/VAAS-IS-NUTZ Mar 03 '26

WOW he’s so cool! /s

2

u/Opposite_Big_2344 Mar 04 '26

When will people stop giving attention to this trash mob of streamers?

2

u/Syzygy_Apogee Mar 04 '26

dumbass chimps don't care if they get other people killed.

2

u/Hot-Map-9119 Mar 05 '26

Should be arrested after police see this.

2

u/Zachesque Mar 05 '26

Take this loser’s license away and never give it back

2

u/dectron3000 Mar 05 '26

please crash

3

u/SuniOsiris Mar 01 '26

Life is not a video game 😮‍💨

4

u/Scared-Commercial5 Mar 02 '26

Permanent ban, license taken away, shunned from everything, and maybe a light beating seems like a fair trade for endangering multiple innocent people's lives.

2

u/No-Food8027 Mar 02 '26

Always them
