The time it takes for a person to transform into a zombie after a bite varies dramatically based on the specific strain of the virus. Best of luck.

Yeah, that sucks. But on the bright side, once you have your knee scooter, you can get all the way from the front door of the Costco to the meat department in the back with one good push.

Did you get caught in a rope trap or harness or something?

Probably just took off an ace bandage that was wrapped too tight before taking the pic if you're asking about the swelling/area that looks like a ligature mark.

My leg looked like that when I fractured it sparring. Apparently I ruptured a muscle as well. I feel for you. Healed well. Wish the same for you.

I dropped a makeshift beer pong table on edge on my left foot in college that probably weight 45lbs that looked like that. It was broken for sure. Never went to the doctor and its ever so slightly bigger now than my right that when I notice wearing shoes its like when notice your tongue or nose annoying.

So how many broken bones do we have in there?

X-ray showed no broken bones. I could still have hairline fractures though. Will need to re-X-ray and or mri in a bit.

Yep, my husband had no broken bones but potential hairline fractures. His job had him keep walking on it like usual and he snapped a bone a couple days later just stepping out of his work truck.

That looks like a big sign that says step right here. It does look a little tender.

(Eh, on second look, Ignore this if you didn't roll it and it's not a sprain)
Some advice from the same experience: Get a compression sock/sleeve, it will help the swelling recede faster. If your insurance covers it, go to a PT clinic like Airrosti and get a deep tissue massage as often as they'll let you. It feels soooo good after and it instantly improves your range of motion for a while. They'll also give you some elastic bands and exercises that will help recovery. Afterward, avoid activities that put front-to-back push/pull strain on your ankle for a while, such as pushing a lawnmower. It'll swell up again and get painful real quick, and you'll definitely want to wear a support sleeve and a hinged brace when active. Even if the ligaments aren't completely torn, they've likely stretched and you've lost some degree of stability in that joint. Cycling is a good activity to rebuild strength without putting a lot of strain or sideways motion on the joint. Hope that helps.

It’s a crushing/ impact injury. I do have a nice compression sock on and will be wrapping it at night. Pt once I can would be ideal as I’ll lose some strength healing. Massage for the calf sounds lovely

It’s so satisfying to show people though isn’t it? Like this hurt like hell and I actually have something to show for it 😂

That looks familiar. Messed up my ankle pretty bad by missing a stair in December. Looked like that for a few days maybe a week or so later.

5 months later my foot's finally (mostly) healed, fractured and displaced 5th metatarsal, needed surgery and it took way more plates/screws than they assumed we'd need
