What do you think of Stephen Miller describing antifa protestors as "deformed"?

I think nothing Stephen Miller says is valuable and people should just ignore him.

“We will make sure none of these fuckers breathe free air again” would be 400 electoral votes and cloture in the Senate, but that would set a precedent of politicians facing consequences for their crimes, and we can’t have that.

You should ignore him when he arrives at the gulag. Prison is way too little for any of those sick fcuks. Enough with woke humanitarian treatment for these fing nazi subh!man dog shits. Maximum suffering for the longest time possible is what they deserve. Every single one of them.

I don't think we can ignore him, disregard him would be a better way of putting it, but people need to actually watch everything this little rodent does.
He is one of the architects behind ICE and their illegal paramilitary activities, he cannot be allowed to leave the country when the dust has settled on this administration.

u/kstargate-425 11h ago
He unfortunately is the most powerful person in the government unfortunately. All cabinet members from Blondi, Hegseth's aides, to Noem and a few other current and former members all said Miller gave the directions and essentially said he was the shadow government running things behind the scenes that MAGA projected and acted like happened with Biden.

u/PaintItPurple 18h ago
He's the de facto leader of US domestic policy. You can despise him, but if you live in the US, you can't safely ignore him.

Ignoring the antisocial people in our lives is how we got here.
They dropped out of our communities and found each other online.
Unfortunately, due to the ubiquity of social media we can no longer ignore these people. They are organizing to make the world as horrid as themselves.

Fascists do everything they can to make the people they want gone look less than human. So they can make it look like getting rid of them is an inevitability, a service to humanity. History's oldest playbook.

Demonization. Miller reliably and consistently attempts to dehumanize his opposition or whichever marginalized group he wants to genocide this week.
One of the oldest generalized slurs in existence is deformity. Close second is the blood libel.

Well, being completely devoid of a meaningful platform or positive ideas for the country one must resort to villainizing others. They make up these terms for the base to shout about and get upset over but don't really tell anyone who these people are, basically having their followers shouting into the ether about people that don't really exist. It's just a placeholder for "people I don't like" or "people who do things I don't like".

Per a CNN article;
In remarks focused almost entirely on the US, Miller spoke of the need to fight the “fatal cancer of civilization,” claiming that so-called left-wing terrorism, when “left to run its course, it always becomes a gulag.” He argued that the US’ political, legal, and judicial systems don’t work “if the threat of violence and terror goes on unchecked.” And he denounced Antifa protesters as “deformed,” saying, “their outer appearance becomes a manifestation of their inner hatred.”
“The greatest risk that we have is that our institutions have grown too soft and too cowardly to be able to defend themselves against a mortal threat,” Miller told a room full of representatives from more 60 countries and fellow Trump administration officials at the State Department on Thursday. “If your civilization is your home, you must defend it with the same passion and force as if an enemy intruder is inside your own house where your family lives.”
So much projection.
We have a lovely little Trump speech tonight. I fully anticipate it will link Miller's commentary with the elections.

We truly need to stop using their word “antifa”. There is no such organization as Antifa. We need to properly describe anti-fascist protesters as just that, Anti-fascist. Because honestly, when did it become okay to be pro-fascist?
The media using “antifa” over and over is such an Orwellian double speak technique that’s allowing the pro-fascist regime to control the story.

2
u/CatOfGrey 17h ago
It's a critical part of cult-style messaging.
It's not enough that people simply believe different things. The opposition has to be framed as 'less than human'. It's an 'us vs. them' mentality that is critical for both cults, and for fascism.
Notice that Miller's use of the word 'deformed' as an insult or as a 'problem' is also showing other beliefs: Any medical difference is 'not in the club', and some arbitrary standard of genetic purity is required.

u/ThatsItImOverThis 17h ago

If Stephen Miller is shit talking you, that's a badge of honor. It means you are making enough of a political presence/opposition that the people in charge see you as a threat or at least a nuisance.
We need to accept that radical behavior at protests is appropriate given what the administration is doing to us.

This isn’t even the worst of what he’s saying these days. Miller and his boss are trying to dehumanize their political opponents, and eventually will use the military and the police against them. They are fabricating lies to support their agenda. It won’t be nice, and regular people will need to be ready to peacefully march by the millions

What a weird thing to say. The English language has a lot of descriptive words, and he chose this? Meanwhile, "antifa" just means "anti-fascist", which describes any American who is devoted to our government under our Constitution.

u/Miserable-Army3679 13h ago
Good one. I have thought how nonsensical it is that people who spend their lives hating other people for the color of their skin think they are better than those they hate. By virtue of their racism, they are worse than the people they hate.

Pro-fascists, which Miller definitely is, lie and obfuscate all the time, nothing they say has any value. Here’s the only thing that matters. Fascists always lose and they lose in one of three ways:
1. An external invasion.
2. A free and fair election.
3. Option three, you know what it is but I’m not looking to get suspended again.
If Miller and Trump do not allow for a free and fair election then that leaves option three only. This isn’t a threat, this is a law of history. They can make whatever noise they want but if the fuck with mail in ballots, send ICE to polling centers, restrict polling places in blue cities, or any of the other nonsense they have planned, well, you made your decision and everything that happens after are the foreseeable consequences.
They shall not pass.
