I think I need help? Spoiler

Hi I’m new to the game and Ive gotten to the boss nightingale and I had no bullets for either of my guns. Am I supposed to melee him to death? Idk just really struggling and jts really frustrating because I love remedy but the camera feels sluggish and oftentimes dodging puts the enemy behind me and I’m dead before I can turn around. Anyhoo any tips and tricks? For a game Ive looked forward to playing for so long it sure isnt giving me any.

there are several Boxes were you can get ammo and health, just walk around and look at corners and trees

I feel Ive been more thorough than most going down ever path and finding all the lunchboxes I can. But like the ammo boxes Ive found only have like 3 bullets each in them and that’s not really helpful

Just run around inside the overlap during the boss fight you'll probably find some ammo in boxes on a post.

That is incredibly helpful but weird. Thanks tho!!

The game provides loot based on what you need, and in that boss fight (and all the others) there are plenty of loot boxes laying around. Staying on the move is key!

For those who find this thread in the future, your playing a game. Have fun. There is invincibility and infinite ammo in the menu :);)

Especially when you have no ammo, in my experience the game is very generous with birdhouses/boxes giving items, even on the highest difficulty. Run from Nightingale to get a little distance, find one or two boxes (they aren’t really rare but easy to overlook in hectic situations) and blast him

Is there a lock on feature in this game? I keep losing track of the enemies and dying to a club the back of the head

I don't believe there is a lock on feature for this game. And don't worry, the Nightingale fight ripped me a new one too.

While there isn't a lock on like in soulslikes, there's the aim assist that is kinda a soft, automatic lock on.

It's an acessibility feature that exists precisely for this kind of situation. That, and playing on gamepad, which is actually really fun, especially on DualSense.
