Our previous AD wait time megathreads (2019-2020, 2020-early 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) seemed to be useful/well-received for a lot of you. Time for a new one!
Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.
No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2026 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes:

Post to this thread if you have questions about a Rolex being real or fake. Please include:
-The location and/or screen name of the seller, if for sale. Link directly to the sale page when possible.
-How long you've had it and how you acquired it, if in your possession
-As many photos as possible. Posts may be removed if pictures are too fuzzy and requests for better pics are unanswered.
-If you're being coy about a watch and it seems like you're just trying to see how "good" your fake is, you may be banned at our discretion.
Please don't use photos from iPhone 14's. Their camera is so bad, and distorts text with AI so much, that the photos are basically unusable for the purposes of verifying if a Rolex is real.
Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don't think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

Treated myself to my first Rolex for my 36th birthday! Picked up this stunning Submariner Bluesy same-day from
grey market. Everyone always says pictures don't do the Bluesy justice, and they are 100% right. Arguably one of the best looking Rolexes in my opinion.

I've just been to a Rolex AD in Nottingham (Goldsmiths) to enquire about a no-date Submariner & a Datejust.
It's the second AD I've visited & I came away feeling like the whole conversation was really just a pitch for their Certified Pre-Owned collection.
The sales associate kept saying that, yes, I'd pay more today but I could walk out with one immediately, whereas if I wanted a new Submariner I'd likely be waiting 8-10 years for the call!
I've genuinely never heard anyone quote a wait anywhere near that long for a no-date Sub, so it got me wondering whether it was just a pretty poor attempt to steer me towards buying pre-owned.
Has anyone else in the UK been told similar recently or was this just a terrible sales tactic?
Hi everyone,
I'm posting this as a last attempt and hoping the watch community might help.
About three weeks ago, my Rolex GMT-Master II "Batman" (116710BLNR) was stolen in Miami Beach.
I had been out at Club Space Miami with some friends. When I was leaving alone early in the morning, a woman that was at bat next to the stairs approached me speaking Spanish, started flirting and said "vamos a otro lugar". I had been drinking, and I honestly thought I was getting lucky, so I didn´t think of much of it. As we were leaving the club, she started pulling me by my left arm, where I was wearing my Rolex. She kept holding and pulling my arm all the way down the staircase toward the parking lot near E11EVEN. At the time, I thought she was just being naughty and trying to lead me somewhere.
As we reached the parking lot near E11EVEN, I took out my phone to request an Uber. While I was waiting, I suddenly felt an urge to check the time. It may sound strange, but to this day I feel it was some kind of divine or spiritual nudge telling me to look at my wrist. I already had my phone in my hand, so there was no reason to check my watch but I did. That's when I realized my Rolex was gone.
First, I genuinely thought it had fallen off somewhere. I immediately asked her to open her purse, and she did. There was nothing inside. But the moment I asked, her entire attitude changed. She became visibly angry, started mumbling something in broken Spanish (or possibly another language but I honestly couldn't tell), and seemed furious that I had questioned her. I even considered searching her myself, but realized that wasn't appropriate and could get me in more trouble. A few moments later, she walked away, and that's when I realized I had almost certainly been the victim of a "bad date" robbery.
To be honest, I had no idea this kind of scam even existed. I genuinely thought I had just met someone who was interested in me after a night out. At no point did I think I was walking into a setup to steal my watch (or something way wrost). Looking back, it seems obvious, but at the time I had absolutely no reason to suspect it.
At first, I thought I had a strong lead on who might have ended up with the watch, but after speaking with the detective, it now appears that information was unreliable. At this point, I honestly have no idea where the watch is.
The good news is that:
I'm asking the community for one favor.
If you happen to come across a 2013 Rolex GMT-Master II Batman (116710BLNR), especially one being sold without papers, on Chrono24, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Reddit, watch forums, pawn shops, or by any dealer, please send me a private message.
The serial number has been registered with Rolex and reported to law enforcement, and I can verify it privately. A reward is available for information that directly leads to the recovery of the watch.
I know the odds are against me, but I've seen this community help recover watches before.
Thank you all for reading.

36mm Black Datejust, fluted on jubilee. 2 week wait-time with zero purchase history with the AD. How’d I do?
Got the call today for my Datejust 36 after waiting for 3 weeks. I’m in love with it. It’s exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my 30th.

What are my options here? 2024 Rootbeer ding on bezel teeth.

Could be catching on the hype.
The BLNR is trading at 20k now, around the same as my sub and 16570
How nuts am I to consider trading 2 for 1?
Rationale is the BLNR has the qualities of the sub (ceramic bezel) and GMT (like the explorer)
Do yall hate this trade idea?

I have my beautiful Wimbledon DJ 41 on Smooth/Jubilee that is my daily wearer from December 2022. From suits to swimming.
I will schedule these days to have it serviced as the date changes 10 minutes after 12 every night and it annoys me.
As you can see I have pretty much worn the watch and enjoyed it without caring much. And I love it but now I think I might want to clean it up a little bit as I might have “beaten up” it a little bit more.
I also have an Omega Seamaster and couple of years ago I also polished it and it looked brand new with my Watchmaker.
I see everyone terrified of polishing the watch (I mean light polish) why is that?
Thanks 🙏🏻

Hi Rolex community,
I’m seeking the wisdom of those who have been in the game much longer than I have.
I’ve had a longstanding urge to consolidate these four watches into a single watch: 126500ln stainless steel Daytona either panda or black dial.
My rationale is:
- Daytona would fit better on my 6.6” wrist compared to the sub and explore 2, which sometimes feels too big and the OP and Reverso, which sometimes feels too small
- This, in theory, would be my exit watch
- I only have one wrist and this would maximize wear time for a single watch
- I rarely dress beyond business casual
Would you make this trade? If so, black or white dial Daytona? Thanks in advance.

My AD is awesome. Put in my interest with her in April with a tall task ask of a Panda before my 40th birthday later this year. Here we are a few months later and she delivered!

This little beauty just came in from Japan. So beautiful. Dial changes from deep burgundy to fire engine red depending on the light. Kind of forgot how petit a 36mm dial would be, but I’m really loving it.

This might be it for me! Got my first from a AD back in March and got the call to get the submariner a couple of days ago.

Getting these at retail is next to impossible and not sure if prices will come down or keep climbing up on the gray market.

Hey everyone !
Hope your are doing great
I have to let one go unfortunately and wanted to have your opinions :)
Of course hulk is a more « rare » piece even if I found the yacht master dial and color very nice !
It’s a hard choice as it snot only on money wise 🥲
Wanted to have your thoughts and feedbacks
Appreciate it !! :)

Where do you guys store/ put your rolex when not wearing it overnight?
Rolex has filed a patent application for a new, invisible way to authenticate their watches using a hidden magnetic marker. Creating a completely invisible surveillance and tracking system for the entire manufacturing and servicing cycle of the watch.
