911 dispatchers get badges?

Yes. They are treated with the same scrutiny as peace officers. Some departments even title them dispatch officer.

Yes. every department is different. Many issue metal badges, some have embroidered badges, others have ID card badges. My girlfriend works at the courthouse in my county and was issued a badge and she’s not a “cop.”

Yup. We ask for badge numbers of dispatchers we speak to frequently. Sometimes they don’t like sharing names it’s understandable

Yes they do

I understand the uniform. I don't understand how the duty belt if part of ut for a dispatching job. It can't be comfortable wearing it for an 8-12 hour shift.

are you a cop or something why do you care about her belt so much

Lol no. It's just weird to see a non cop wearing a duty belt. You don't agree?

I see carpenters and roofers with them all the time. What's the issue?

Well, for one, this video is very obviously fake, so scrutinizing it is essential. Secondly, and honestly its pretty surprising this has to be explained to someone who has unrestricted internet access, dispatchers are not roofers and do not require duty belts.
