I mostly dont think about the button names anymore. Most games, even across consoles and different games, use the same or similar button schema.

what? the default behavior for switch and xbox are flipped... thats what the post is about

While it gets confusing with button prompts, usually the only thing that's flipped position-wise is the UI confirm/deny actions. Most games are going to use the bottom button to jump, for example, regardless of the console and what it's labeled.

What are you talking about? Saying "yes" or "no" or "next" or "confirm" or "cancel" or "back" in one game can, and usually is, a completely different button then the next game, and the next, and the next. It's all a jumbled mess.
