You joke, but this is literally what the dixiecrats did during reconstruction. Republican victories were invalidated and Black politicians were murdered. The parties have flipped in that regard, but the reactionary nature of this dynamic is the same.

I wasent joking, I whole heartedly believe this is the next step possibly starting tonight

Ok that's a huge exaggeration.

It really is not.

It really is, we are miles away from that. There hasn't even been the groundwork laid out for that. You realize Trump has lost pretty much every court case where he tries to prosecute his political opponents, right?

There wasn’t groundwork for a lot of what Trump has done. He just did it anyway. Our descent into authoritarianism has happened much more rapidly than it did for Putin’s Russia.

And if you read the executive order being referred to here, it is very clearly characterizing opposition discourse as part of a criminal conspiracy

Every. Single. Case. Against Trump's political opponents has failed. You're already wrong, it didn't start last night.

LOL. Trump and co did not have the groundwork laid out for increasing ICE detainments. They just did it and worried about facilities to house and personnel later.

The guy is already wrong - didn't happen last night.

A protestor has been sentenced to 30 years for carrying magazines (the paper kind).

That's being appealed - also, there's been misscarage of justice of this kind under every president.

Things are bad, but to say last night they were gonna start rounding people up - the guy is already wrong, it didn't happen. It's hysterical.

Did you see hegseth’s tweet and the fly overs in Pensacola earlier?

What does that have to do with anything. Did Trump start the mass round ups last night? No, guy is already wrong about this.

The issue with many in this society is that they react to devastation, rather than prevent it. You have to see people being lined up and shackled to take action when all the signs we are heading in that direction are right in front of you. There is a collaborative effort between the gov’t and the technocrats to build a Ai surveillance panopticon around you and your community via flock cameras, but let’s just wait and see how this pans out. It’s absolutely counter intuitive.

Are you blind? You can SEE this happening, you don't even need to believe in conspiracy theories.

Did the mass round ups start last night?

Somewhere in Poland was a little girl hiding in an attic hiding from the concentration genocide camps writing about the nazis.

Somewhere in the US, there is a little girl hiding in an attic hiding from the concentration genocide camps writing about the republicans.

everything's an exaggeration when you havent looked at the past decade
