Not lazy or greedy just defeated and selfish. People feel there is nothing that will change and just work for what’s theirs because the humanity has been driven out of almost everything they interact with day to day. It’s never left vs right or white vs whomever they pick that week. It’s rich and poor and they will make sure there isn’t anything in between. The population always has the numbers and the power to stop this whenever we choose but that would require empathy and understanding which has been the goal to eliminate for decades.

Rhetorically, sure, that is the theory. But in the US we have the largest numbers in the professional managerial class who are more concerned about their retirement plan than whether or not we have democracy.

Yes that is the point I made. Wrapped up in work and money to watch their own back.

It's just impossible to understand the nuances of this whirlwind conversation. /s

Not to mention the effects of chronic stress on our population, which can present as many of the behavioral issues seen. We're stressed, exhausted, scared, angry, misinformed, clinging to what little power and control we have, and have had it drilled into our brains that the US military is the most lethal in the world. What chance do our people have against military drones, police fighting alongside the military locally, against a corrupt, mad administration that seems willing to bomb and imprison its own people to maintain power? Defeatist attitude, maybe.

It is a defeatist attitude a bit but understandable. You just hear more of how “overpowering” authority can be. Just as an example from history, there was only 1 SS soldier for every German citizen at their height during the Reichs run. Propaganda made it so people thought they were everywhere and it was useless to resist. People need to remember or learn to use their eyes and ears and to trust themselves

It for sure is rich vs poor.

But I would argue at this point, it is also about left vs right. The right is in bed with the rich now, entirely so. The video on this post is a declaration of war against the left, he didnt even bother to say Antifa this time, just "left wing terrorism". What about right wing terrorism? Oh right, thats fine.

Lol, the right elected a "billionaire". I think it's pretty clear which side they're on. The whole "it's not left vs right, it's rich vs poor" is basically just repeating itself.

Left and right. These words that get said over and over and over until they don’t mean what they used to. People aren’t as far apart as it seems as there is always the extremists to point out either way. This is the issue that stays another distraction with labels. And left wing terrorism just means whatever goes against the agenda at the moment and has nothing to do with actual “left” ideals.

The point is its labeled "left". They are explicitly labeling only one side of the political spectrum as terrorists. If you identify as left or center left, you should worry about this, regardless where your beliefs are. Because as you said, they can make it whatever they want to.

Left = democrat and right = republican in the US. Thats what they currently mean.
