I think people are really hoping the midterms put an end to this debacle. If not, i suspect protests will rise beyond marches and speeches into more direct forms of action.

Hell fucking yeah we are. I've been ready. They've already earned it 20x over as they are the true terrorists in the U.S. They are the ones with everything to lose. Which they took from us. People with nothing to lose can do some crazy shit. And there's a lot more of us than them.

Then they'll be ended with Hellfire missiles launched via drone from one of the many military bases firmly under MAGA control. The Right is positively giddy at the prospect of finally getting to paint the streets of every US city red with US civilian blood, and don't think for a moment that anyone will stop them.

The Nazis weren't stopped by the German populace, and MAGA won't be either. Only outside military interference can remove and entrenched Fascist Dictatorship, and with the US's nuclear arsenal even that's not an option.

Bottom line, MAGA's here to stay, and there's nothing left we can do about it.

Nuking major cities would destory the USA. Trade would stop, the economy would collapse. There would be nothing to rule over. Highly doubt they would do something like that even if they are insane

That's why, for all the talk of "violent leftwing extremism", it's completely false. There has been far less violence than I'd expect to see when France loses the World Cup. The only violence has been that inflicted upon minorities (especially those in detention) and protestors.

I'm actually kind of terrified... I think with a free and fair election, the dems will clean up no problem. But with Miller and whatever trump is going to say tonight, it's obvious they are going to pull some big time shenanigans. Then when we react they just start shooting and/or locking us up for 50 year sentences. What are we supposed to do?

This election is our last chance, and if they blatantly steal it we are fucked.

I think most people are trying to avoid a bloody multi-year revolution that sees the death of 10's of thousands of people. Is that what it's going to take? Maybe. And if it unfortunately gets there, so be it.

I get that you are living within a failed democracy, and the longer Americans hang their hopes on said failed democracy, the further your fascist government will have pulled a peaceful transition of power out of your collective grasp.
