Discussion Cut the AI price by 90%.
Wau, everyone using AI, newbie, junior, mid and senior.
Everyone forgets how to code.
AI companies: thats what we want, hurray.
Increase the AI price by 1000%.

I'm genuinely tired of this hiring market.
We were told to build projects.
Then we were told to get experience.
So I did both.
I worked across 3 companies while studying and gained 2.5 years of experience.
Now it feels like we're competing against ghost jobs, endless hiring posts with no real hiring, AI-generated LinkedIn "inspiration," and recruiters who disappear after asking us to apply.
At this point, I'm not even asking what candidates should improve anymore.
I'm asking companies and recruiters: What do you actually want? Or are many of these openings just for engagement and collecting resumes?

I'm a 4th semester IT student, and honestly, I feel like I'm falling behind.
So far, I haven't built any projects or learned any useful skills. I mostly just go to college, study enough to pass my exams, and that's it.
It's not that I don't try. I've started learning Python and Django many times. Every time I practice, I eventually get stuck, lose motivation, stop for a few days, then regret it and start again. This cycle has been repeating for a long time.
Seeing other students building projects and improving makes me feel like maybe I'm just not meant for tech.
Has anyone else felt this way? Did things get better, or did you switch to something else? Should I keep trying, or is IT just not for me?

Looking for a reliable laptop for my brother under 70k. He’s heading to the UK for a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management.
It mostly needs to handle basic college stuff—Word, Excel, basic browsing, PowerPoint presentations—and plenty of movies/streaming.
Any good models available in the current market right now? A decent screen and good battery life would be a massive plus since he's traveling. Thanks

I know most devs are building amazing tech products but they dont know how to market or find customers as that is not their expertise.
Reach out to me if you are sitting on a product with immense potential. We can work together to spread it in the market with my networking and connections i have.
I’m already working with few devs and got them clients too. Have a good day.

I am not interested in large business, such as buying stocks listed in NEPSE. Thank you for your comments in advance. Where to find such or get connected to such business owners?

I know deadlock avoidance is done using banker algorithm. But not clear about deadlock detection. It seems to be we could use banker algorithm here as well

Just finished Grade 12 and I’m getting multiple calls and SMS messages every single day from different colleges and universities asking me to visit their campus or enroll in their programs. I never gave most of these colleges my phone number directly, so I have no idea where they got it from. The most annoying part is, I'm going into the medical field and I won't benefit from any of these colleges (which are mostly for the management stream) anyway. They ask me what I plan to study for my bachelor's and they just cut the call after hearing that I'll be studying medicine.
Is there any way to make it stop? Can I opt out somehow, or do I just have to keep blocking numbers until admission season is over?

I refuse to hire HR people at my company for this very reason. HR is a made up role with no actual purpose or need but look at this mfs ego. Dude is tilted cause somebody blasted HR posting 5ys experience requirement for junior role with 30K pay.
And reminder to DEMAND 100K salary. Don't sell yourself short if you have skill. And please please please do apply to foreign companies.

My Ripple laptop is having issues with the battery. I want an honest repair shop that, if possible, can repair my charger adaptor and battery, as it is charging very slowly. Any suggestions for such a place in the Kathmandu valley?
PS: Is there any place that repairs mice? I have a Logitech MS mouse. After dropping, it's not working (with jitter, it pops up though)

Greetings everyone!!
I'm planning to buy a laptop and my budget is 140-160k. But I'm so confused which one I should buy due to many options in the market.
My use is light to moderate gaming
Decent battery backup
Rtx 4050 is my main priority.
Must be with an upgradable option which can run for at least 7-8years.
