How are people learning Romanian?
I’m so fed up. I’ve been trying to learn Romanian for close to 20 months (with consistent daily practise) and I don’t even feel like I’m A1
Romanian already has so few resources for learning and I have tried absolutely everything, and yet all the resources are inaccurate, outdated, and so many are plain useless. Youtube videos don’t go in depth, so many Tutors don’t actually seem to understand how to teach, some of the apps (mango, pimsleur) are helpful but still don’t provide much. I’d love to know what resources other people have used/are using
I’m so desperate to learn this language, I’m willing to spend money on quality material and I’m more than willing to dedicate time to learning but I’m stumped and it’s really getting me down with what a loss I’m at right now, can someone please actually help me with direct advice on how you are learning without just suggesting the same 5 things (please don’t suggest anything AI related either)
Edit: A lot of people are suggesting talking to natives! I agree that that is helpful, however for the past 4 years majority of the people I interact with on a daily basis are native speakers, I have visited Romania 18 times. I have been exposed to the language, this just has not been enough & I still feel lost whenever I spend hours in a room with native speakers who cannot speak a word of English, I need something to help me get over that first initial struggle
