can anyone not see the content on avenue? the midterm is today so i was gonna review stuff but can’t see anything 😐

Hi, does anyone know if the professor gets alerted or something when/if we switch tabs during an avenue midterm. The browser is not locked nor is it proctored.

I haven’t been able to find this anywhere. Can you use those HE ‘Tide Pods’ for the laundry rooms? Or do you need the powder or liquid (non-HE) stuff? Are they all the same? In Hedden if that matters.

I applied for life sci and ibiomed and got into both, and accepted life sci, confirmed my enrollment, and did course selection. But all of a sudden Im starting to feel regret, like I shouldve gone into engineering which had a more clear future I feel like since i wouldnt have to stress about whether I would be able to get into dental school or med.

Since I already got into Ibio could I switch to ibio before september? I did have an offer and it expired though in june. Also idk if I want to do biomed eng like I feel like the general engineering I was more for me, but I didn't apply to it... I heard its easier to get into than ibio though so does that count for anything

Do I just have to do first year in life sci and then apply for a transfer or is there any way I can switch now?

For those who think it was fair be honest where did you guys prep from I want to score good grade in Midterm-2 no matter otherwise I have to drop this class and take it in winter or get a bad grade and retake in winter. how hard would it be for someone who has no knowledge but has taken all maths

also if i want to pre study would that be helpful, and if so should i do grade 11 or 12

I'm going into second year of Honours Life Sciences and plan on applying to med school after this yr.

Many Canadian med schools require a certain number of units of organic chemistry, but I've heard that CHEM 1AA3 can satisfy those requirements even without taking chem 2oa3. (is this even true??)

My priority is maintaining a high GPA, and if CHEM 1AA3 already fulfills the prerequisite, I'd rather avoid taking Orgo 1 and just learn the additional organic chemistry needed for the MCAT during dedicated MCAT prep. (but is that unrealistic?)

Has anyone successfully applied to Canadian (or US) med schools without taking Orgo 1? Did CHEM 1AA3 satisfy the organic chemistry prerequisite, or did you run into issues?

Any advice or personal experience would be appreciated.

If you’ve gone through the reinstatement process before, how long did you have to wait after submitting your application? Around what date did you get your decision?

hi everyone I’m going into my first year for social sci this fall and was wondering your thoughts on taking bio 1a03 or taking math 1f03 instead and just not taking bio, I have to take math 1f03 and 1ls3 since it’s a requirement but I was planning on take 1f03 in winter and 1ls3 in summer but I’m not so sure now and classes are filling up for bio and I can’t enrol until august 1 so I’m not sure if I should just not take it or just wait it out.. what are your thoughts?

Im going to Mac for med rad and like I genuinely have second thoughts abt it all the time. I was deciding between med rad, nursing and life sci. I really found med rad interesting and there was a lot of pros to it but I’m constantly thinking abt what if I went for the other path. My dream was med school but I wanted a more secure path that led to a job after grad. Idek what I’m looking for here I’m lowkey just venting.
